That's right. I am at peace. Jim is a good man. I hope he'll decide he can still deal with us as his friends. There was no arguing or anything like that, no jealously. But he was really into tim and I think bothered him a lot. Thank you for your support, Thorn. I appreciate it.

Oh dear. It is what it is. Just life. It was good, but it had to be right for all of us. Jim couldn't make it right for himself. That's fine, I get it. I pushed tim to care and he was sad. I learned my lesson. But we are not unhappy.

My, perhaps I wrote this badly. You all sound sad. I was disappointed, but Jim needed to be happy. It was hard for him, so he decided this wasn't right for him. That's all. tim was sad, but understood. I am happy with my life and my love. If at some point we meet the right one, perhaps we'll try again.

Like the title says not all things in life work. It's a shame, but it's true. My desire for our new boyfriend to become more in our little family didn't come to fruition. He decided it wasn't right for him and moved on. I've talked to him, but we'll leave it here for the moment. All of this was hard on tim. Especially since he'd grown so close to Jim. tim is willing to continue on this adventure - he has a big heart and wants to make me happy - but we will see. I am aware of other things he wants to explore, more related to our lifestyle, perhaps that's the best way to go. Hearts are nothing to be played with.

I agree with my husband. If you guys feel things are right for you, then that's all that matters. Honesty is important if people want to do this. You need to talk about how you feel. It's not always easy. Working through jealousy can be done but it needs to be taken seriously and worked through sensitively.

I have zero doubt you did your research. It shows. I know this about being undetectable, I know because I've talked to tim's HIV doctor. I take Prep because it makes tim feel better. He'd be horrified if he passed this to anyone. I'm only here telling you this because of what you told me when I first met you, about the young man who, like Jeremy, thought no one would love him. I hate ignorance. Whether it's willful or otherwise. So, I will tell people they can have a relationship no matter what. You need to be honest, you need to learn and you need to listen. If you have HIV, see your doctor, rest enough, eat right, be as healthy as you can. Follow your treatment plan like it's your new religion. Then love your man. Live your life. This story is a wonderful thing … to support people and teach. Thanks, Wayne.

When I was a cop, we learned how to deal with people. In cases where we dealt with people who were bleeding or where there may be bodily fluids involved, we carried medical gloves. You need to protect yourself out there. I won't lie, I was taken aback for a short time when tim told me he was positive. There is a moment of panic and fear. But, I pushed that away and looked at it logically and with the information I had. I also read and learned more. In the beginning we used condoms, once we knew we'd get married, and we knew tim was undetectable, I eventually started on Prep. You can certainly have a relationship. The important thing is to ask and learn. You can be safe and have a good satisfying relationship with someone who is Positive.
