And you molly. Thank you.
-
Indeed. I am happy he has not posted his.

Yes, but it isn't so simple … as well as being psychological it is also physiological … it is in part how our brains function. We naturally think about the negative more … perhaps in an effort to understand and stop the negative in the future.
-
First, sorry your team lost … I know that feeling all too well. Second, people and by that I mean people with 'normal' lives, jobs and homes and food in their bellies and a roof over their heads need to realize that homeless people are not evil, or scum, or lazy. Many of them are mentally ill and have no where to go. Just imagine that for a moment .. knowing you have no place to live, you don't know when you will next eat or drink. Why do you think anyone would choose that? We need to stop being afraid of them and worrying about our property values. They are who we should value .. life is what we should value. Not house prices over human lives. Cities big and small need to put all people first, not just the rich, but each and every one of us. Stop assuming and start doing.
-
Why? Because we think about negative things more, process them more, ruminate. While pleasant things we enjoy but do not over-think. We have more words for negative things as well, than we do for positive experiences.

What is it with you and tim? he wrote some weird weasel poem as well …
-
Yeah, I didn't want you to get your hopes up. That just wouldn't be right.
-
Nice poem, Wayne, but no, I'm afraid we can only be friends. Seriously though, a good poem.
-
you did the right thing, molly. you will have no regrets in the future. Hold on to each other.

Your argument that diversity is normal is an excellent one. Well said, Mac.
-
I think the general consensus will be most of us have been here. Thanks for sharing.

Best of luck. I don't need them now but I usually had to get everything tailored. Unlike my sleek boy who wear suits off the rack! They look made for him!

I am up watching soccer … then it's nap time I think. Have a good day all.

Of course, if I can help...I will.

It's very true. Got a text from Peter downtown. sitting outside having a bomboloni and coffee!

It's crazy here but we've no plans to go out today. It sounds as if winter is on its way in, not out.

He was recently diagnosed with HIV, and he was wrecked. I'll never forget the last two lines he ever wrote to me - "Who could love me now? Who could possibly love me now?" How sad he had to feel this way. I'd liked to have answered him. tim is HIV+. He told me that on our first date. As a police officer it was something I dealt with per our procedures. As a boyfriend/lover, it's different again. First you have to learn about this disease and understand what you can do to protect yourself. And then the hard work starts. You have see him first and not the disease. And love is so very possible... I wish he'd have written you again, Wayne.

My Gay Community
MichaelS36 commented on Jason Rimbaud's blog entry in Wry Wrambling of a Rebellious Rimbaud
Stalking me, eh? Well that's okay. Yes, I am a Dom, married to a wonderful man who is my sub. I am gay, a man, a Dom, a person, etc. etc. I was a cop. People of all kinds were important to me. They still are. Within my community I care about the others who live in it. I just happen to be a gay man within it. My neighbour is a straight Muslim, or a Jew, or black, or white, or Asian, lesbian, trans, etc., … it doesn't matter to me. I should not have to join gay groups or any groups I don't want to, prove anything to anyone. The comment made in the first forum post did irk me enough for me to say something about it. We should not judge or label .. and I suppose in a perfect world we wouldn't. I don't walk into rooms and say 'Hi, I'm Mike and I'm gay and a Dom.' However, I will hold my husband's hand and anyone who doesn't like that can be damned. Excellent blog, btw. -
It is, but I suppose it may offend some and this is rather a public forum. And frankly, there would be comments I'd not want to hear. Better we discuss /share amongst ourselves.
-
Just a little D/s project. .not really suitable for discussion here. But tim made me proud.
-
Now I have to run a couple of errands. See you all later. Have a good afternoon.
-
Man, I can't stop either.

Happiest damn Dom on the planet today … I love that boy! Have an excellent day.
