tim asked me to visit this morning. I will echo tim and say welcome. Whether you are a submissive or not it is your journey. There is no right or wrong way to be and we all change and evolve as we live, don't we? It's a brave thing to come and say what you have. It's out there now, so please relax, know this place is safe. If you have questions, ask. @MacGreg and I both have blogs, he writes some excellent Lessons as well. tim has D/s poetry and a blog … some of these writings from us you may find helpful or just of interest. Welcome to the Drop in Centre or the DiC.

That's a promise!

Poor Carlos... we should send him some pictures. Thank you dughlas. We are happy and we've just relaxed a few things, it's working for us. Thanks again.
-
THAT is truly good news. I am very glad to hear your date was a success!
-
Thanks, A. I wish it for everyone.

I think that's part of how I feel. I'm a Dom but lately at home at least, I do not want to be so full on. People pay me to be that kind of Dom, at home I want to be happy and enjoy my boy. We are still D/s but our way.
-
Thanks, Thorn.

Thank you, Mollypop …

That part is easy. Our partnership, marriage, whatever works because we choose to make it work. Not only because I am tim's Dom, but because we like each other, care and want it. So, we don't look for ways out, we look for ways back to each other. Because we have drifted apart on occasion, but permanent separation /divorce is just not a card in our deck. Happiness is a choice and circumstance. And whatever has changed, well we are not looking closely we are just grabbing onto it.

Exactly. Thank you, Kitt.

Thanks Carlos … people constantly amaze me with their tiny closed off minds: You can't even dress correctly. Aw, well, as you say.. screw em … though not literally. LOL
-
Thank you, dear Reader. xoxo

Thank you, Wayne. You'd be hard pressed to find many of us in a dictionary. And yes, if we do not bend, then we break. Thanks again, my friend.

I suppose you are right. We talk about true love but what does it really mean? It is, I guess when in your mind I married this person for better or worse. To me there is no other option. If something is wrong, then we fix it. Thank you for your wonderful comment.

boy… there isn't much more to say than that … xo

Is it? I'm not so sure we queer folk have any less 'lines' than non-queer folk. Labels are everywhere and on everyone. And I think if you believe otherwise, you aren't looking closely enough. There are D/s people who discount how we live because they think we don't measure up. And that thinking is in all walks of life and all people. That is society. Always has been, always will be. However, I try not to think about it, or care. Because all that is truly important to me is tim's happiness, which in turn is mine also.

Today tim shared a motivational poster which said: The older I get the more I understand that it's okay to live a life other's don't understand. That made me think. While it is true many do not understand our D/s lifestyle, recently, I've found myself questioning it also. I do not believe D/s will ever be totally gone from us. But I have found that by easing back a little bit, life is more fun and more fulfilling. I have discussed these changes with tim; these lessening of the Rules. he seems fine with what has been happening. The change wasn't a decision, it's been organic, an evolution of sorts and it suits us. I believe it comes from changes in tim. he is more confident, happier, stronger. These are things to encourage and reward, so I have had to change as well. But he will always be my boy, and I his, Sir. he is still respectful and defers to me, but something is different, less rigid. It is there but I cannot pin down what it is exactly. However these changes manifest themselves may not stay within the D/s colouring book lines always. But you know what? It's our life … your life … and it needs living the best we can. Do what makes you happy. We most certainly are.

Certainly, girl.

Keep your teeth, boy. I know it's frustrating, but just keep doing as they tell you. Not much more we can do, than that.
-
Have a good one, Def!
-
I am going to go and find out what majik the boy has wrought in yon kitchen. See you all later.
-
OH my, he does have you fooled … he is very sweet, but well, I could tell stories, but I won't LOL The part about the long legs is right though. When I first saw tim all those years ago, that's what I noticed first. I may have growled...aloud.

Um… that sounds kinda …. bad?
-
I knew I could trust you, boy.

Okay... I was allowed to read a bit.. do not tell tim... The trio met the Stone Men’s scouts on the final switchback near the summit. “Stop, ye three.” One of the massive men stepped forward, the palm of his hand held outward. “Stop now and speak.” Stravor halted the pony and then walked up the incline to get nearer to the man. “Why we call them men, I know not. They are the size of a full-grown troll or two Gotesian bulls.” He stopped before the creature and looked up. “I am Stravor the Younger, a Searcher travelling in the name of Lord God Hemothracene. You should know of me.” The Stone Man drew his sword. “We do know of you, Stravor the Younger. Our orders were to watch for you and bid you pass safely.” The creature’s voice was bass and rumbled out of its mouth like quiet thunder. “Good. Then pass we shall.” Stravor turned, to go back to Keter and the pony. The ground shook as the leader of two scouts stepped forward. “No, I think not. Hemothracene cannot see. You two will be tasty and then the pony for afters. We’ll enjoy sucking the marrow from its bones.” Stravor stopped. In front of him he could see Keter’s frightened expression. Behind him came the Stone Men. Their heavy feet causing the ground to quake and cracks to appear in the well-packed track. He watched as the pony shook its head and turned away, it carried Keter, at a gallop down the mountainside. “Run little one.” Stravor whispered as he turned. “Keep the boy safe.” Stravor drew the Sword; it glowed red. “You are ready my faithful friend? These souls we want not. Let them die with their masters.”
