And this…. “Why didn’t you ever tell Kage your name?” “He never asked,” Cassiel replied. It knocked me over while I had a deep belly laugh over it….I do tell my son the answer to every unasked question is no. This was a humorous reminder that “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” We also know Elijah is of Fae and wolf shifter heritage, a hybrid himself; Cassiel may well be correct about Elijah’s importance in busting this sex ring. (Ima still call him “B” now and again, in tribute to the dearly departed:

“Why are Huntington and his snotshitwad minions still alive?” That word sounds like it came from such an intelligent, beautiful source….😉 “The brother who lost had to let the winner rename the village. The winning brother chose Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.” Who knew comments could be source material? I like The Fae (“B”)….he’s smart, can admit to mistakes, is a rebel and has a kind side that he showed to Elijah….I don’t know if he’s a good guy but I certainly don’t think he’s all bad; the information he provided on shifter heritage is fascinating. Looks like Trevor is a double agent, I hope B can keep ahead of him to avenge Kah-gey. It figures that mangy cat would be wily enough to get some type of protection, thank goodness B is working on removing his flea collar….Make them pay, B Just make them pay. I’m relieved Elijah and Tyler made it this far without incident, I won’t relax until they are safely with the Sebastian & Co.

Hmmm…. At first, I was going to say that love for Tyler’s family aside, Elijah is in a position of flux….his roots can be replanted anywhere; at this point I see E&T together wherever or whomever comes across their path. Theeennn….something about “ I can't imagine Tyler abandoning him for some wolfie luv.” made me wonder-will Tyler have some BFF love in his future? 🤔 You’re tighter than a virgin at fleet week about giving anything away-this was just a kernel of a thought that came into my mind that I threw against the wall (some things stick, some things don’t 🤷♀️)

This response reminds me I meant to comment on the pic-I thought it was a combo of Kage and Elijah after well, you know….the pic looks like both of them. To repeat a great quote: “BTW, you're still a monster for killing Kage.” ❤️ (thanks @astone2292, lol) Congrats on Tyler’s promotion….that means he’s finding his mate in Montana & he/she’s probably a werewolf, lol!!

Fellow lifetime tea lover here….it’s my favorite beverage. As a product of the American Northeast, I’ve never been to Cracker Barrel, Howard Johnson’s or Stuckey’s but I really wish Stuckey’s was in my experience for the tea aspect alone, lol.

It was nice to see things from Tyler’s point of view; I think this trip will be transformative for him in ways besides being Elijah’s support. I’m still unsure if The Fae ambushed Kage & if he isn’t setting up to do the same to Elijah….guess we’ll find out.

This is my first time getting on-site all day; Cache has hindered my reading ability….Will try to get it read today, lol 🤞

If he could spell that, I’d doff my hat in respect, lol. Got me polishing up rarely used words, @kbois, lol. Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious. although I think I misspelled a letter,

Oh!! While it was a word I knew, it not an often used word-I thank you for “imponderable”.

Oh how you must have hated that people figured out the laptop was in the car so early, lol!!!! Then again, you probably figured the other goodies up your sleeve were juicy enough to give that away. FUCK. YOU. TREVOR. I get that in his line of business he has to be brazen but to just swagger in and threaten Tyler’s family?!?! Snotshitwad. Thank goodness he didn’t figure out they had laptop in their possession. I guess dumb snotshitwad. 🤷♀️ So Montana’s the next stop….finally!!!! LOL!! If you don’t call the dogs to you, go to the dogs. Will history repeat itself and Tyler find his “mate”, too during this adventure? 🤔 P.S.-I love how Kage encouraged Elijah to let Tyler go to Montana with him….it’s like he literally lives within Elijah for the moment. ”Do it, a voice inside him said, a soft, but insistent heat spreading out from his chest.” 💝💔 To Montana….

Before Wednesday (and what at that time will be two chapters later), the following passage captured me from chapter 16: “He could clearly make out all the shades of blackness the night presented. So many names for variations of the color that dictated his existence. Onyx. Ebony. Obsidian. Sable. Raven. All different, but meaning the same.” It was the first time I can remember seeing so many different shades of black listed at once, it beautifully illuminated darkness. There was a comical section I was going to note before murder was the case that you gave us so that went right out the window.

You had to bring up Nash. Lyssa and Nash have been my “obstacles” in your realm….now there’s Kage; The list will grow BUT calamity characters are in the minority of your cast, they kinda have to be (you put some BIG calamities on your people, lol)

For a minute SOMEONE had me thinking that Tyler wasn’t Tyler after Kage’s death-(that shapeshifter ability can get a lot of mileage)
-
They have to come, Elijah won’t be able to take down the shift sex ring alone. They just need that dog whistle (or phone call, lol)
-
Trevor AND Kasar. That mangy cat is responsible for this whole dang mess.
-
If that’s your criteria, you’ll be writing for a while then, lol. I’m still

I didn’t take your meaning that way, I took it as a passionate reaction to a well written story. In one of @kbois ‘s first stories, I was giving her guff for some plot development and she asked me one question, (which I may be paraphrasing)- it was either “Do you trust me as a writer?” or “Do you trust me to tell a good story?” My answer to her was “yes” and I’ve trusted her ever since. Her happily ever afters aren’t rainbows and balloons but they are the best case scenarios for her characters. I hope you stick around.

You’re very welcome.🙏 Though to be clear, I was referring to @JayT’s little bit dramatic don't you think???? to @shifterslover’s comment. While I know should they stop reading, they’ll miss out on a good story, no one should be shamed for their reaction, as long as they are not offensive or disrespectful. You and your fellow writers pen stories for a response….you don’t always know what that response will be; I took shifterlover’s passionate reaction as a mark of being invested in the drama you’ve woven, that shouldn’t be belittled.
