Chapter 2 - Clubble Trouble
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 2 - Clubble Trouble
Hmm....does he wind up with Penn or Ryan? The set up is complete. I dread the tide turning in Nash’s life and wonder what part Paul plays in it. “Well thank you. Didn’t realized missing me was an option. I almost didn’t post this story because I wasn’t sure anyone really cared lol” Your other two stories were incredible and this one seems it will be more of the same. If you have other stories, I think it safe to say there will be plenty to read it here. -
Between the story summary and this chapter, I feel a set up for Nash’s current life to come crashing down around him. With all the love between he and Lee, something is not quite right and I detect and interest from Ryan that I’m not sure what to make of yet. I get the Colin and Charles/Donovan and Shane vibe between Nash and Ryan. If they are whom you’re going to put together, I sense a hell of journey on their destination to each other. Looking forward to more.

This is also one of my favorite chapters of the story. TC and David really do make a perfect couple and having family approval (especially those of your children) is BIG. David’s car sharing analogy was a perfect description of his and TC’s dilemma, with TC clearly being the one who always wants to “drive”. Compromise would be the perfect solution for them, obviously and while TC has seemed too much a control freak to loosen up, it is also he who has pursued David; I think with TC’s heart involved (as it clearly is, friends with benefits be damned) he may be more flexible that he realizes.

There was a neck and neck contest on the F💣 and 💩 as my favorite swear word for a while, F💣 won out-It’s more versatile, lol.

“Time” will tell, huh? I think “time” just did, 😂

I like how you explored that not everyone has parental instincts through Elliott and TC’s choices; The smartest thing is to recognize who you are and not force the issue. Life may show you otherwise but people generally know who they are. It made me a little sad that things have kind of cooled romantically between David and TC....I’m hoping it’s a case of absence making the heart grow fonder, as I feel the two have the makings of a great relationship if they decided that D/s would not be a dominating factor. As there is a Book II and we are already at midpoint of Book I, there’s clearly more to explore between our two Doms. Liking the occasional profane word, I determined I wasn’t going to be a hypocrite about it when I became a parent; I now have an eight year old whom I regulate by letting him know “those” words are adult words and he has to be a certain age to say them. He tests me on it every once in a while but that benchmark has generally kept him in line, lol.

“He and David were careful with their boundaries and that was exactly what TC needed. He wasn’t ready to share his emotional side with someone new, but David was an old friend and they had their own emotional history that surrounded their friendship. It was familiar and comforting and best of all they both knew it wasn’t going any further. They had sorted all that out at the beginning of their friendship and they were both OK with how things were.” Life has a way of throwing a curveball when you’re swinging at a different pitch. I feel that TC has been sharing his emotional side with David since they reconnected. “Let’s face it TC, what we’re doing is not meant to be long term. Sooner or later I’m going to have to let my Dom out to play. Your Dom doesn’t play nice in the sandbox unless there’s a sub involved. One of these days TC you’ll be ready to move on and find someone who can be what you need. We both know it’s not me. Don’t get me wrong, I love what we’re doing. But you and I both know that it has an expiration date. It’s not tomorrow and it may not even be this year, but eventually the benefits will run out.” David said.’ Understanding the personal preferences of both David and TC being Doms and that there aren’t two Doms in a D/s relationship, this passage still made me question “will it?” (Run out, that is) There is something here more than I think either man wants to acknowledge.

What an amazing way you have with a narrative❣️❣️ I was already a huge fan of “Still You Want Me” but I think I like this one more. I was sad to leave their world but equally grateful for the glimpse I had in it. What a beautiful, beautiful, narrative. Thank you.

Hope you’re feeling better, thanks for the chapter.

Whether you rage in prose or literally as you’ve described, it your right and I hope you do so. It’s when we keep in the toxic feelings that they turn on us. You have such a gift for making your point resonate in the most poignant chords. Thank you for sharing it, Beautiful Man.

How beautifully, erotically stimulating, with a dash of melancholic longing. I’m glad you had it and I’m sorry you miss it. 😘 🍻

CONGRATULATIONS❣️❣️🧑🎓 🎓 🎉 🎁 👏 Your son is a graduate. Period. That is true with or without a cap and gown and is a major accomplishment in and of itself....even more so if additional challenges come into play (as you’ve indicated). Most people like weddings but weddings symbolize the start of a marriage; That walk across the stage is symbolic and while it would be nice to do, your son’s accomplishment stands; He is on his way. A heartfelt congratulations to your son and to all of you who have loved and supported him. (and continue to, I’m sure) Nice chapter, by the way. 😊

And your food content!! Lol!! I swear, you, Wayne Gray and mikiesboy always leave me hungry reading your stories, 😄

How David “turns out” or how David is “turned out”? 😄 Very intriguing story. I think I’m somewhere in between, not vanilla but not hardcore; I enjoy reading about different journeys and perspectives, you never know where it’ll take you. You're batting a thousand, kbois....I’ve yet to read a story of yours that isn’t engaging.

I think Bratty added to her family, in more ways than her pending litter. I hope Rick gets to have his own place soon; He definitely needs away from his brother in law.

I’m thinking Rick is going to change Aidan’s life (and heart) in more ways than one and that Rick will be similarly affected. I like what I’ve read so far. 👍

“Chase? Please listen and try to not hate me. I have so many regrets, but doing that to you, sleeping with him, it didn’t give me any satisfaction at all“ Why do we call it “sleeping with” when sleeping isn’t what is going on at the time? (Maybe afterwards) A spade should be called a spade, or a fuck a fuck (for the PC amongst us, sex should be called sex) ”Poor Kevin? Please! He knew exactly what he was doing. My side of the bed wasn’t even cold when that little weasel slid into it, so don’t expect for me to feel sorry for poor Kevin.” Brava Chase!! 👏 Interesting that Hank would feel guilt for leading Kevin on, when he should have realized that Kevin wasn’t really being a good friend to him....just goes to show that guilt provides a very distorting flavor. I could see a reconciliation between Chase and Hank....personally this felt too soon. The heart wants what it wants though and sometimes a big leap of faith needs to be taken instead of baby steps. What was interesting to note was that the dynamic of their relationship seems to have changed in every way, as it appears Chase was previously the bottom in their relationship and Hank let him top in their reunion sex. “Once their foreplay reached a fever pitch, Hank made him aware of what he wanted, and while it surprised him, he didn’t question it. They’d had mostly defined roles in the past, but this was now, and Chase adapted happily.” This will be a relationship between equals, where one shores up the other when needed. Love may not always be enough to save a relationship but when you are willing to work so that love has a healthy place to thrive? Then, love is everything. Unhappy endings= 0 HEA=♾ (that’s supposed to be infinity) 😄 🍻

Nice cliffhanger to end Part I. I’m on a love/hate see saw about Part II because I fear what it means for this foursome. Great writing, Katya. Stay safe.

Chapter 18 Rhythm and Blues

MmmHmm. That’s why I said what I said I’ll deal with dangled with cliffhangers (though the other dangles might’ve been more fun.) -

I don’t know what it would take to convince our esteemed author to post more than once a week but I ain’t holding my breath about it, lol!! You know he thinks the double chapters he occasionally posts (which are deeply, deeply appreciated thankyousomuch) are more than enough. He likes dangling things in front of us. 😉 (Well some of us....being that I’m a chick) 🤷♀️ -

And a correction: I don’t know why I’m saying “would be” to that asshole being a sexual predator or rapist when he clearly is; Chase was not an isolated incident and definitely not the last person he put those “moves” on. It seems “Endings” is his hunting ground (or one of many?). I’m surprised someone hasn’t put an “ending” to his reign of terror. Fucking Sleaze. 💩 -

Maybe that’s what happens when you order a Corona nowadays....😳 Bits and pieces of that momentous night come back to Chase post mortem but I think it’s a good thing; He is emotionally stronger now and that can only be a positive in his dealing with whatever he finds out. Part of that is that everything that happened that night wasn’t his fault-yes, he ran away from Hank but a pushy would be sexual predator and a boyfriend hair triggered to have a nuclear reaction to someone he loved “betraying” him in such a manner was the perfect shit storm. (Nitro meet glycerin 💣) Based on what it appeared Chase and Hank had before, what happened could and should have been a stumble on his and Hank’s road together, it was Hank’s reaction that ended their romantic journey, just like it was Hank’s reaction that destroyed his relationship with Lilah. I actually think it’s a good thing Chase ran into Hank at “Endings”; Hank came there hoping to bump into Chase, as it was stated he didn’t really favor the place and only went there because Chase liked it. There is unfinished business between them that needs to be addressed and I think that is what Hank went there to do. I don’t know how much (if any) of the confrontation between Chase and Mr. Would be Rapist Hank saw but his reaction to it will be an indication if he listened to anything Chase told him that evening and that will determine if they have a future relationship of any kind. Nice cliffy, Gary. -
Wayne❣️❣️ This was beautiful....perfect; Both the story and the poem. “I see you inherited your grandfather's head of hair." That line made me laugh, as for a while it was believed baldness was inherited from your maternal grandfather, lol.
