Yep, Julian’s in love. That'll make someone hurting Raven because of him all the more painful....
-
Nice to see their relationship from Julian’s perspective. I hope he can get Raven to the cure for that poison in time.
-
Fuck!! Someone is going to take Julian’s toy away (well let’s be honest, his boyfriend) and unleash a personal apocalypse. I have to say, the bonding session was nice, even tho I can’t get into Julian and the kids. I dropped the phone I’m reading this from when he said the 8 year old’s name was Damien, brought me right back to Jett. It’s going to be fucked up that Raven is about to pay for Julian’s choices but I gotta say with all Julian’s done I get the quest for revenge. I do like Raven and Julian together tho, the two of them are in love with each other and don’t even know it. Please let Raven live. Julian too, (with maybe no more kid stuff?) The weird items Raven is being paid to steal is puzzling too and has me fearing it has something to do with hurting Julian (or mankind) but it’s secondary to R & J’s love story (I’m a sucker for a love story).

Is Julian falling in love? (Well the way he can love) I don’t know if good sex is making Raven complacent with his work but it was kind of careless of him to manifest before he got home; He wound up giving Julian a boon tho-a major fix in fucking up Raven’s two assailants and getting the medallion back for him (which will score points with Raven, whether he admits it or not). Curiouser and curiouser. “Your mouth says ‘Get out,’ but your dick screams ‘Come hither’...” Come hither cracked me up, was Julian born in the 1800’s? 😄
-
1+1=2 I think Raven will like Julian’s type of pain; I think Julian got rocked too, without having to hurt someone as much as he’s used to. Who’s gonna seek out whom first?
-
How will Raven’s blood sucking and Julian's blood letting desires fit into a tidy equation? 1+1=who? Are they two halves of a same whole?
-
A love story for Julian?!?! 😳 I guess anyone can be redeemed. This will be in-ter-rest-ing. ....Just remembering his part in Sam’s misery; Someone who likes to inflict and receive pain. I’m very intrigued with where this will go.

How come Katrena hasn’t gotten pregnant by Paul? (I’m assuming they are having unprotected sex) I was thinking that if she got pregnant once she could get pregnant again but I guess Damien was a true rarity and she can’t conceive again. (?)

“When one door closes, another opens....” “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” This story was very touching, painful yet hopeful, as events in life can be. There were no bad guys here. Andrew had really shitty timing but he was right to do what he did, for the reasons he said he was doing it (which did consider Anthony as well). The unconditional support system that Anthony has in his parents and grandmother was the bedrock of this story, as it was for Anthony. It was the nest that allowed him to spread his wings (which he took for granted) and also made him realize how strong and deep his roots are. (I’m a sucker for the reaches from beyond of loved ones, as the fish were Grandma’s way of reaching Anthony or so I believe 😉) I started this review with a couple of sayings that came to me in reading this story and will conclude it with one more: “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.” That’s what Clark did and he’s fortunate that his most cherished dream came true. I wish Andrew, Anthony and Clark their happily ever afters. I miss your storytelling voice, Gary so this was a special treat. Thank you!! 👏 🍻

Chapter 1 Fly Me to the Moon
FanLit commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 Fly Me to the Moon
Oh Gary. ❤️ 💔 What a beautiful, sensual love letter to a past love. No matter the pain separation may bring, ‘tis truly better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. “....and your white shirt looking as if straight from the dry cleaner despite you having put in a twelve hour day.” I possess a jealousy of people who keep white shirts pristine, because that is never me 😁 😉 Thank you for sharing this walk down memory lane. 🍻- 62 comments

Aww. 🥺 You gotta admit, it would’ve fit the spawn scenario given how she felt about him in utero the whole time, lol. I actually think she loves her “monkey” very much. Are all her powers really gone? How fast will Damien develop and how will she manage it? (If she can) Will Jett or someone from her old world find her and if so, what are the implications for her and monkey? (And Paul?)

This was such a nice addition to the Rothenia world, yet a good standalone adventure. I find the mysticism interspersed in Rothenian folklore beautiful and it certainly served here, lol. Try as I might, I still wish for Will and Oskar to reunite.

“Cos you treat me too nice, Nate. You gotta fight me, or I’ll just piss on you. I’m that sort of bloke. You gotta learn or we won’t last. I feel it. I may still love you, but I’ll lose respect for you. Act like a carpet and I’ll walk all over you on the way to the door.’” Interesting I’ve read these words today, they have deep resonance with me right now.

This series is so moving and every part added hits the right note. 💔 💞

Nate’s a prick, bigger than his own. While there are a whole lot of different things that can happen to a whole lot of people at this point, I hope a humbling is involved for Nate.

Here you go, getting my food mojo on again: first the pho in the last chapter and now the pepperoni, basil and goat cheese pizza in this one (I don’t know why that sounds so good, but it does). You are bringing out a foodie in me I didn’t even know I had, lol. 🍕 🍜

Them big, thick....personalities can be very distracting. Even small and thin ones....😉 Gotta love the variety of personalities.

YAY!!!! I marvel at the palpable love between these four (and Specter!!) that exists in their various angles with few words being used to express them. This story showed it through their actions and the actions said a lot. The slight detente between Desmond and Daniel was nice, too. I am all for a happily ever after with this trio (well now quartet) it is well earned. I wonder if Sam would ever heal enough psychologically to ever let Blair top him. An intriguing universe you’ve crafted. Thank you for sharing.

I had to stop reading at chapter 26, the suspense was getting to me so much; Now that the story is completed, I’m reading it all the way through. While I’m glad the guys are working together and putting the pieces in place, my heart is breaking over Desmond and his guilt. I’m also wondering if burning the tattoo off now was wise, if it might not be a link of some kind to Sam.

It’s plain to see With each new task, Poetry is a genre Your skill can surpass. Limitless, are you In storytelling, too. Waves of emotion At sea in your words. Surf go your readers On sensitive turf. Guided by hands That till literary earth. My amateurish attempt at saying your poetry rocks as well as your stories do.

Thanks for clarifying; I just finished chapter 2.

“He wanted him so much he was willing to try being another person for a while.” It’s sad that Justin can’t believe that this is who he is underneath all the attitude and damage, that he has to pretend to be someone else to be liked. Like drpaladin, I too dislike medicating children, tho I recognize it’s necessity in extreme cases. Justin’s case didn’t seem extreme, it seemed like the medication was given to him because nothing else worked.
