”A Saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up.”
Tim is a saint; He isn’t perfect but he is blessed and he’s a blessing. This motley crew of emotional orphans have finally found a family of their own with Tim at the head. He’s almost too good to be true.
I love what I’ve read so far and look forward to reading on.
I’m glad this chapter revealed both issues that will be impacting Rudy and Trevor and Kieran and Kennedy. I too, am wondering if Trevor overheard K&K’s talk about them and marriage.
Somehow I feel Kennedy has found out a way “to fill my free time.” Some of it, anyway. (Hello, Loch Arkaig, well the inn)
Im hoping Marcus and Tom are okay....
Yeah.
Jett is so not straight, lol.
April (and Jett) fell in love at 13 and never got over it. They were perhaps too young to deal with the intensity of their feelings, or maybe not, as it seems they still can’t deal with them, lol.
Zane will set them both straight, I think, if April doesn’t slip up and mention a past memory that only Theo would know.
Damn.
I was proud Jake put his big boy pants on and told Christy about his feelings for Alex and then Amber’s suicide took all the air out of this chapter.
Jake has to live with his part in what happened to Amber for the rest of his life, it’ll be interesting to see how he deals with things.
Glad Jake told Christy that he’s gay, still sad about him pining away for Alex. Jake leading Amber on can only end badly. Maybe living with Sam will provide a different perspective and options.
I know there’s an age difference between Jake and Sam that might preclude a love connection but there have been bigger and they are both legal now....🤔
“Everybody’s Wounded”and this story are so achingly beautiful.
Even though it’s 8 years later since an update and a less than 8 year reread of both stories on my part, I’d love to see a conclusion to this story. There was a slow, realistic adjustment on the parts of Luc and Matt that was allowing them to step away from their feelings for Scott and Josh respectively, that I would like to witness the continuation and conclusion (of some sort) to. It would also be nice to see Laura and Brandon progress to the open trust and love they were clearly on the way to.
I hope you’re still around and I hope all is well with you that an update is possible.
This was so BEAUTIFUL. What respect and restraint on Michael’s part.
It is my hope that by the time David finished school, he and Michael met up again, as Michael proved how worthy he was of David.
So now I can add survivalist to the other attributes of your stories.
Between this one and “Finding Refuge”, I’m better informed about how to manage in the Wild West and a blizzard 😉. (In all seriousness, I was very impressed with Cooper’s breadth of knowledge in “F.R.”)
To be emotionally moved and intellectually educated in a story is a good thing.
I’d read this story and “Stepping through the Mirror” as one offs before, it was nice to read your anthology together.
🍻
Reread this gem today.
I’d love to see a glimpse into their future....Blake and Ryan loved up together and Ryan the most famous artist on the continent, his sycophantic mother and distant father remorseful over their actions and but kept at a healthy distance by Blake, who’s living life on his terms.
Mind you, this is not a story suggestion (can't advise Picasso after all, 😉) just my version of their HEA.
Why does it seem like this amazing, normal boy attracts the kookiest of the kooks?!?! His parents and now Amber, smh.
Seeing his mother in that condition I feel is a warning that Jake is ignoring, his progenitor is not done with him yet.
