What you infer is quite spot on. Aidan wouldn't be seen as a threat if he weren't this hardworking. Bosses can be asses, as I know, and that's why Military Apeman is how he is in this story. As for the talk about profit, I got inspired from what's happening today in our world. Look at all these so-called unicorns - they are valued at one billion dollars, but they can't make a profit, and just accumulate losses year after year. The bubble is going to burst, me thinks. (So any resemblance to the Dot Com crash is naturally noticeable) Thanks for the insightful comment, as always!

It's just a common case of misunderstandings on both parts, I think. I just find it so funny, yet a bit disconcerting when that happens in real life. Ah, that is so sweet ... There is a lot of learning, yes. And who knows who might end up learning more? If Heath ever hurts Aidan, it will be completely unintentional. And here is where I insert doubt, as usual. But I'm foreshadowing. Let's not go there right now Also, thank you for this break down of their evolution so far.
