I agree with the spanking! That would be quite the sight... a strong wolfshifter getting spanked, and one of Anthony's age, lol.
-
He-he, I had no idea it was a competition...

Chapter Twenty-Six – True Pack Leader Danny waited patiently as the warmth that had gathered in his palm diffused to the tips of his fingers and then into Anthony’s chest. A calmness that differed from anything else he had experienced in his life engulfed him, as new warmth grew inside him, coursed through his arm, and then forward into the man he was healing through the means of an inner power he had yet to become fully acquainted with. He heard Harper crying softly, and he lifted his

Oh, wow... I guess this one can be... both?
-
I love you, my dear reader, I really do
-
So close...

Gawd, if I managed to make all of you doubt my unofficial 'middle name'... that says something. Well, there will be some bitter-sweetness to it all at the end. In my head, and in the tags, I pegged this story as 'drama'.
-
Yes, yes it is!

Oh, no, not Rhett!!!!! I read that silly (but highly enjoyable) sequel 'Scarlett' without knowing it was written by someone else, only because I wanted so damn much to read about Scarlett and Rhett ending up together. And at the time, I had no idea what fan fiction was, because seriously that sequel is pure fan fiction. Despite all, I enjoyed it so much it wasn't even funny. Just wanted my happy happy end, I guess.

Hmm, someone is quite used to my writing by now... gosh, I hope I don't end up one day becoming a formulaic mess...
-
I so love this comment. You do understand! It's amazing, really. Oh, gosh, when you guys will know the whole truth... I wonder what you will all say then.
-
No drugs involved, I promise. But I'll leave you to speculate... I can't stop you
-
At the surface, it does seem so, yes. I'm leading you on the path I prepared... But you know me, that's just one of my faces...
-
Yes! And a lot will happen! Seatbelts ready?
-
Nope, not drug use for this guy. I'm not letting you guys go down that rabbit hole. Just think of this fact: Lyn walks in, he sees only Luke. Luke says Brad is still in the bathroom. Let's play detective. Is necessarily everyone telling the truth? As for the Mr. Darcy reference... come on, guys, I think you were the ones to make the parallel! I just love Mr. Darcy and admitted that he's imprinted on my romantic side of the brain as a most desirable guy. I find it exciting that you guys find parallels now between Pride and Prejudice and my lil' story. It's flattering. But I hope to surprise you in many, many ways
-
I'm against spoilers, usually, but it's not drugs making Brad feel like this. And whatever he does behind his wife's back... well, let's keep that for later
-
A lot of things will 'seem'... while others will 'be'... Not commenting on Brad's long bathroom break because we're only having Lyn's limited POV. But it's not drugs. I feel like I'm safe to say that.

Thank you! And @Cane23 is truly amazing in how he sees through all of these chapters!

I love this. Yes, I pledge guilty.

I'm glad. So, no thoughts of gangbangs anymore? :))
-
He might not have a choice to let go of his delusions! Not that he's going to be forced... but he's intelligent enough to live the truth even if, verbally, he protests against it.
-
Ah, what an analysis, @Cane23! It really makes me realize new things about my own story. And they're true Alexander is willing to play 'the game' because he believes this is how he gets to the finish line. That doesn't mean he doesn't experience frustration. He has always had great expectations of Lyn, which is why he wants Lyn to see it instead of letting him know what he truly says and means. It is a way of treating Lyn as his intellectual equal, something he has always appreciated about his friend. Lyn dodges the true meanings of Alexander's words because it feels safe. How does that eternal truth go? People change only when change becomes inevitable. In what Alexander says about Brad, he once again proves he knows his friends pretty damn well. He sees Brad's flaws, not to bring him down, but to see him in a realistic light. How much of a prophecy those words will prove to be... that remains to be seen. Lyn, in his efforts to play their usual dynamic, makes faux-pas after faux-pas. He tries to compliment Brad and keeps him on the same pedestal, but at the cost of Alexander becoming upset (And Alexander is right to be upset). Even Lyn can see it, although he tries to rearrange it in his own head the way he usually does. Lyn will have to work a little to get back in the demon's good graces. He really needs to... ahem, realign himself. And finally, yes, he was jealous! He didn't say it, but he was, and that slipped, oh boy... Alexander really needed a bit of satisfaction, after all. Push and pull, back and forth, they are advancing on their way to their destination. I'm so happy to have such invested readers! Thanks again!

Oh, yes, it makes perfect sense. I'm basically giving you guys a big puzzle and pieces only one by one

Lawyers - good lawyers - tend to be like that. You need a fighting dog in there when you have to go against someone else, I suppose.
