Good grief... I was on the phone with Floridas Motor Vehicle Department for 1 hour, 51 minutes, and 51 seconds. Of that...at least one hour was just on hold waiting for a human. However, issue is now resolved and it didn't cost me anything other than 2 hours of my life I will never back. Have a good day everyone!

I'm sitting here rather amused with myself and my pettiness. As you know, I have one incredible bitch of a sister-in-law who has verbally attacked my husband several times and me once. She's butt-hurt and hates me because I moved a picture of her daughter when I cleaned and didn't put it back front and center. Whatever. Now that the mother-in-law is in the nursing home, its been blissfully pleasant. We still have the hidden nanny cam and I have it set to send me motion alerts so I know whenever one of the judgemental Gavel Sisters has been here. They don't stay long...usually just to feed the cat and let the dog out (about the only nice thing they do). The bitchy one has been here twice this week and has taken stuff out of the house. As far as I can tell it's been books and clothes for her mom, although she did take the BP monitor that she bought. I've also noticed her straightening the pictures on the stand under the TV so that her precious little girl (who is now 30-something) remains front and center. So what does my petty ass do, you ask? I took the box of tissues and put it smack dab in front of that picture and made sure the pulled up tissues blocked as much of it as possible. 😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣

Trust is something that once broken, is difficult to repair, but it can be done. I've known several couples who dealt with infidelity. Most of them didn't make it, but a few did. It took therapy and a lot of hard work from both before things settled. One couple, after the dust settled had an even stronger bond. Unfortunately the husband passed away before he turned 50. My friend said the best thing they ever did was get back together because the cheating happened in their mid 20s and by the time they were 30 they were back together after spending 3 years separated and going through therapy. She said if they had divorced and gone their separate ways she never would have gotten to know the man her husband became. He knew he had fucked up really bad and regretted every moment he spent with the other woman. He was a great dad and he and my friend ended up having almost 20 years of a much better marriage that he nearly threw away. He was 48 when cancer took him. So if there's any type of shot at reconciliation whatsoever, Miles and. Troy need to put in the effort and they both have to want it. The biggest question is .... is the damn author going to throw in another monkey wrench and leave everyone guessing?

Miles knows he hurt Troy. How he addresses it is now what the issue is. The sunsets will play a pivotal role, but not yet. Cats... I'm still meh.

I do appreciate the anti-Miles sentiment. I didn't set out to create his character in such a way. However, I can understand how your reactions are valid. He has turned out to be a bit of a selfish git. Redemption is possible. Look what happened to Caleb in the Hybrid Journey series. He betrayed an entire pack. Miles' transgressions are child's play next to that. We shall see.
