I got myself confused while I was writing this chapter and the next. Wayne and Sandi will only need to alter their scent a little, to help mask their little white lies. Hence the concoction that Reilly used to mask his scent. Donovan was able to alter the formula enough so that they won't smell like soggy doggy. The only things that worked were oregano seeds, garlic, tea tree oil and grapefruit rind, of all things. Rosalie chose the oregano/garlic combo to test. Wayne and Sandi can pick and choose what they go with. Elijah needs to believably smell like an adolescent shifter, hence the butt stink and more to come in the next chapter. 🤪

There's still a lot of unknowns and with so much missing information There's not much that can be done, other for them to wing it and hope for the best. Time is not their friend. Wolves are creatures of nature. They're at home in wide open spaces or forests. There's a reason for everything.

The sun was still far beyond the eastern horizon when the charter plane’s wheels left the ground and ascended into the starry sky. Reilly was proud of how Sebastian reacted when he told Alberts they had to return to Montana right after the banquet.
