So glad the worst is behind you and hopefully you'll be home soon. Twelve days in the hospital scares the hell out of me, but not for the reason you may think. A stay of that length would certainly cost a fortune here in the States. Even with insurance now, we'd still be out of pocket $15k easily. Thanks for the update Chris, so happy you're feeling better! Chaffuerd son to mandatory work meeting ✔ Cleaned bathroom ✔ Cleaned bedroom ✔ Washed comforter ✔ Washed couch covers ✔ Cleaned floors ✔ Washed dogs ✔ Still have some more laundry to do. Ugh. I really hate cleaning, but I love having a clean house. I finally got around to replacing my Crosswave so the floors got done pretty quick. My back however, is screaming at me in several different languages, the loudest ones being Snap, Crackle,and Pop. Hope everyone is having a good day.

I keep reading this because I really love the message. When I was really young I completely believed in magic. I still love reading stories that involve magic. One thing for sure....if I really could "be all magical and stuff", I'd want a unicorn 🦄 . Being different is a really good thing, otherwise we'd all be pretty boring! (Unless we had unicorns) I hope everyone has a good day.

When we moved I decided to re-theme my kitchen decor. I had a hard time choosing between the rooster/chicken theme or coffee. Coffee won. 😁☕

That's exactly what I've decided to do. I'm going to make a list and hopefully get enough info to make a decision. Only time will tell if it's the right one. I'll keep y'all updated.

Interesting turn of events at work today. The manager at our sister property gave her two week notice (not really a big surprise). Our regional manager called me to ask if I wanted to interview for the position. Hmm, I'm on the fence with this. It's a lot of responsibility and I'm not sure I'm confident enough in myself. Everyone else wants me to do it. It's more money, but I'm not sure how much. Plus I'd have to work six days a week (half day on Sat.) Right now I'm finally familiar with most of our residents here. It would be like starting from scratch over there. Also, those residents are, erm, a little higher maintenance. We're Bud Light, they're Chardonnay. I'd be learning new job skills so there's that. I guess what I really need to do is interview for the job, find out the details and go from there. I've got a little time to figure it out. Decisions can be hard.

Talking to my mom....it made me cry, but it made me smile too. Talking to her brings back memories...those make me smile, even if she doesn't remember. 🙂
