I agree with tim on this one. I think once the decision was made to get Matt his official documentation there probably wasn't much conversation to be had.
Matt doesn't really know Andy and while I'm sure he's grateful, he feels no obligation to try to foster any kind of friendship. Don't forget there's an age gap too. At this point Matt sees Andy as someone who went out of their way to save him and to provide him with a fresh start. Nothing more. He has no clue what he wants out of life other than to find out what happened to Ahmet.
As tim mentioned, Andy's parents have no valid reason to meet Matt. As far as Andy, I know for a fact (because, helloooo... editor here. Lol) that we haven't heard the last from Andy.
I know I've said it before... trust the process.
