  1. They most certainly do! could v easily be British (or Queenslanders?) Climate change is a grim reality here. Spain is number one on world list of countries most likely to become deserts.
  2. Really hope the holiday is going well. You choose the better part of the Mediterranean for your hols, here in w med it’s damp, cloudy and showers which leave the car covered in dirt. And this is a great read regardless of where we are. Awaiting Natasha’s entrance with great interest 😆

    Chapter Two

The descriptive language is exquisite and draws the reader into each scene. A delight to read.

    Chapter 1

This has the feel of another @andy cannon triumph. Exquisite writing. I felt I was back in Florence. Awaiting with eagerness the next installment

    Prologue

Great start to what looks like being a really good story from the pen of one of my favourite authors here.

    Pericles & PJ

Me too! And it is an excellent chp. Such good characterisations. As happens every time, Robert’s latest story just takes over and becomes a new favourite.
  10. Great advice for many of us. Thank you.
  11. Here in Spain the Tax Agency is, believe it or not, the most respected of government services. Given said agency is in receipt of ALL your bank details, you press a button and it completes your tax return. If you are owed money it takes about 5 days to receive it. If you owe money you have months to pay. I have to add overseas income and it recalculates things. I paid €45 for an accountant to check everything and she found a big error on my last ever employer details. Also married couples can decide to be taxed separately or together.
  12. My oldest friend from school spent 40 yrs as a top UK employment lawyer. His (sadly) edited tales of top firms without a clue how to handle disputes were amazing. I hope Simon gets well paid! love this story a lot.
  13. I didn’t really understand the dynamics of the employment/labour issue and it didn’t work for me. That said, the budding relationship between Martin and Nathan was a delightful, if painful (😣) read!
  14. Snow is the price you pay for living in one of the greatest countries in world! Here sun cream is becoming a necessity!

    Chapter 1

For this alone, I’m impressed: a war zone of wheezing treadmill virgins The language is wonderful, thank you!

    New Horizons

“The lone wolf had evolved: open, loved, ready for whatever came next.” great ending to a good story. Thanks

True, but I have some doubts. But all will be revealed by the master puppeteer!

Im a bit confused re this development. Not sure I can see St Vincent agreeing to anything that might help the Spanish navy. If it is the price for being able to spy on various ports, perhaps. I await with great interest how this next section is going to develop. as ever, thank you, Mark
  20. Dear @mollyhousemouse, your words resonated so much for me, both at a family level and professional level. It looks like you’ve worked through the sh*t and got to a good space with yourself, only then can we truly have honest and real relationships with those we love and who love us. kind regards and thank you so much. I have lots to think about in my own journey xx
  21. Such a beautiful comment, Tim. Well said. Xxx
