What a nightmare. So feel for you as I’m an expert in losing material. Back in the day I had the choice of clicking yes/no. An error would have deleted all of my lecture notes for all my subjects. There was no floppy disc back up. Finally, I clicked yes…. It was the correct answer and I recovered all. I still feel queasy when I think about what I almost destroyed….
A huge hug from me, Tim. I got lucky with v decent psychiatrist many yrs ago and have needed therapy on other occasions. I’m fortunate in that now I’m retired my stress levels have dropped significantly and what Churchill called the Black Dog is leaving me alone.
