Well told story of loss, mourning, and emptiness. But in the midst of the hurt, Headstall brings a glimmer of hope in the broke-hearted. Proving you never know when you’ll be given a second chance. Definitely recommend this story. In the end, I think you’ll walk away with a smile.

When Woodward was going back to the scene of the accident, he felt hallowed because there was no sign that anything was disrupted. Ain’t that the truth. The world moved on if we’re ready or not. What is a source of devastation to one person is an inconvenience to another. Both men spent the last year mourning. Likely, surrounded by people who tried to be supportive but I’m sure they always felt alone. These two can offer each other something unique. They understand each other in a way that others simply cannot. Very sweet and exceptionally well told. -
Thank you for this. This comment sums up a lot. It's so easy to judge without knowing. I try very hard to write those situations into my stories. In a sense, they're real life twists and turns. It's so easy to try and make everything fit into a perfect little box, yet it rarely does!

Everyone was so supportive with the story I just had to write a little more. I'm glad I did, I think these bonus chapters really tie everything up. Plus, in the midst of writing it, I found inspo for my next story. It was fate.
