After Gail left, the director spoke to Ben and Frank about a couple of small changes. Frank scribbled madly on his script. They then left the set together and got into the elevator. Frank finished the notes he’d taken and glanced at his partner. "Did ... did we kinda kill it today?" Ben nodded. "Yeah, with Gail at least. But it won’t matter if we don’t get the ratings." "Yeah, you’re right, but she’s a hard sell." Ben pondered that and other things that niggled at him for the

Thanks, tim. I'm sorry if this one hits close to home ... but I think it needs telling. And that's so odd. Luckily Troy doesn't suffer from that particular quirk. He's just a guy who really needs access to showers once in a while.

Thanks! I'm happy to see the story is so liked already. Thanks for reading again!

Thanks, Tonyr. I hope you notice that it's a smoother read from the previous version. FYI - I'm updating the version on Storylover as I go too ... so you won't be able to compare those after I post the chapters to GA.

Thanks for the nice words, Chris. And, yep, here we go!

Thanks, Tom. I understand the need to leave. In my case there is love and hate wrapped into one confusing package when it concerns my homeland. Enjoy the pass through Barre again. 🙂

Thanks, Jeffrey. I had a few stories under my belt when I wrote this one. Luckily I improved a bit, so I do hope you enjoy what I think is an easier read, and the plot too. More is coming!

Thanks, crazyd. They will indeed keep coming. I'm glad you're along for the ride!

Thanks for the great comments, Danners. Grant and Troy are very different. Grant is so privileged compared to Troy, and I really wanted their lives to serve as a counterpoint to one another. Troy's struggling hard and has been since some event put him on the streets to live out of his old van. He tries, but there's only so much a man can do in his situation. Religion is a funny thing. Some people will pick it up, use it as a weapon, then put it back down when it's uncomfortable, or when it no longer suits them. You may be right about John's family. We'll have to see if the rest of your thoughts bear out. I love that people develop theories about where a story is headed. Keep those in mind. 🙂 More to come.

That's probably true, Butcher. It was posted on a couple of other sites before it made it here. But ... this version is, much like Camp Refuge, a step up in quality of writing. I hope you enjoy it the second time through.

08 November 2018, Thursday 3:12 p.m. Fumbling with an armload of groceries and the key to his new house, Grant finally managed to unlock the door. He had picked up the key only a couple of hours ago from the realtor, and he grinned excitedly despite the cold and his difficulty on the stoop. Grant opened the door, eliciting a creak from the neglected hinges. Nothing a little oil won't fix. He stepped into the cold, dusty space. It was still well lit by the sun, which shone through

Grant is a man new to his work and to the East Coast of the United States. He has been given every opportunity and chance, and has capitalized on that as he starts his new life. Troy has lost almost everything, and his life over the last sixteen months has been nothing but a struggle. A burned journal sends them on a collision course. This is their story. Author's Note: The story will update twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays

Oh yes, it's very possible. It's more than possible, it's likely. Thanks for the great words. Silverwolf was a tremendously fun story to write. -
Well said. Love to you both.

Thanks for asking, rick. The day is well underway. Worked out, did a few chores, now I'm at the coffee shop working at editing the next story I'm going to post on GA. I hope your family drama cleared up. Have a great one.

OMG ... What have I done by creating this story? lol -
Thanks, Tom. I really like how the story has been improved. Instead of people stumbling over parts it now it just flows. It's still not perfect, but ... damn, it's such an improvement over what it was. 🙂

Hell, I felt like I was the only gay man in the world when I figured it out. So, I get a little of the angst, though not all, I'm sure. You're right about Stonewall. Many who had the choice of retreating out of the limelight did so, and left those with no other option to stand for all of us. Thanks for the comment, droughtquake.

Thanks for the great comment, Tom. I'm not sure how I missed it earlier. I'm so happy you found my story. Truly. You already know A Silent Song is coming, and where that goes ... but I'm glad you're sticking around for another trip through.

The first time I decided to take a crack at this, and there's no way possible for me to guess. The mystery remains!

I eagerly await my cider shipment. I'm kidding. Don't send cider. I'd feel obligated to drink it, and that's not a good plan if I want to do anything other than write werewolf porn. 😛
