We all have doubts. That's human. Where it goes wrong is when we let them rule us - when we let them define our lives. And Kent simply refused to allow Stanley to do such a thing. I'd love to wrap Tad up in a long, warm hug. He deserves one. Thanks, Thorn! 🙂

Thanks for commenting, Fae. I like my new Dom and his sub a lot. Kent doesn't call himself that yet, but he's beginning to try - simply because that's what Stanley needs. Yeah... Tad. He's just such a good person.

Hi Tom, thanks for commenting. You know... this story is pretty different for me. I took risks in it I have never taken before as a writer. So, I'm glad people seem to like the work. Enlightenment can come from very strange sources. So I will accept that there's the off chance my work can do that. 🙂

Even though "Word are Hard", I'm a writer. So I try. 😋

And here's your feel good story today. A country star hitting back at homophobes. https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/27/entertainment/jake-owen-lgbtq-clap-back/index.html

Will do, don't worry. I'm starting on the behemoth this weekend.

Thanks for the nice words, Parker. Stanley feels undeserving, and even has a bit of “imposter syndrome”. He doesn’t think Kent sees his faults, and that when they’re revealed, Kent will regret ever loving him. Kent isn’t having that. 😊 Tad is concerned with those he loves. And he tries so hard to ensure they are in the best place they can be, for one another. More to come.

Thanks, Canuk! There's quite a bit of confusion, doubt, and then the loving effort it takes to hammer them down in this chapter. There's more coming on Sunday. 🙂

Thanks, Chris. 🙂

Ohhh.... don't forget that book. 😉 And yeah! Stanley did a doubletake there. "Wait! I know those big beefy legs! I've seen him changing enough to remember that!" Ohhhh, good theory about Markus. Sometimes I wish I could hear reader ideas before I ever wrote my stories! 😋 I'm glad you enjoyed it, Danilo. There's more coming this Sunday.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Jeffrey. I'm glad you liked the chapter, and the dialogue! Those scenes between Kent and Stanley... they've definitely gone just a little further than they had before. Kent exerted some control he never has. Not only did he find Stanley willing to hear him, but that Stanley NEEDED to. Stanley is happiest when he has someone who loves him steering things. That's what Kent did. In our trio, did you notice Tad? How he spoke individually to both Nate and Christopher, and how he asked them to go to him with their fears? Tad is the one going through the most terrifying thing of his life... yet, he is willing to take on all of their pain. As much as they'll give him, he'll take it. Out of all of the characters I've ever written... Thaddeus Coleman is the one I would have liked to have met the most.

Hey, thanks for commenting, Bryan. I think you're right about Kent and Stanley. We're all formed from our pasts, and Stanley can't help but feel those echoes you spoke of. When it comes to Stanley, Kent has slowly grown protective. He can sense the need for it in his lover, and he grows into the void in Stanley's world. He's becoming the rock that Stanley needs. The graphic novel was something I loved, mainly because of the work I was doing with pictures associated with the story. Someday I'll release a version of this story that's edited, and that includes those "artified" pictures. They add a lot to the work. I tried to make them all look like art, and for the most part it worked out well. Story-wise, Tad felt the need to get his work out there. He wanted to have an impact on others in a way that wasn't preachy, or confrontational. Simple scenes of life between people who love one another. That's all he wanted to do. You're not rambling. 🙂 I'm looking forward to Sunday too!

Thanks, Parker. The newly minted triad is sort of feeling its way along. Though Tad is the center, both Christopher and Nate bring something they all need. Kent and Stanley are slowly learning that trust it takes to express feeling and emotion to one another. I love telling their part of the story. 🙂 Markus... god. Yeah. I know how he feels too. I really know how he feels. He's a man in desperate need of some help.

It is on the small side. A little one bedroom house. It was what he could afford. Does it meet the criteria of a "tiny house"? No. Though, it's small by US standards. A cottage, really. But it's what suits our Stanley. Thanks for reading and commenting, Bryan. 🙂

It was Monday, and Kent stood with Nate behind the counter of the bookstore. At his earliest opportunity, Kent began his curious inquiry. "So, how's your friend, Nate?" Nate smiled. "He's good. He scared us, but he's good." That was now the second time Nate had said "us" associated with his new friend. Kent noticed. "Yeah?" He smiled. "I get the impression that this is a special friend." Nate nodded and looked a little uncomfortable. "Uh, yeah. He's really special." Nate glanced at K

Canadians are scary! 😋

Does "treasure" mean the same thing in Canadian? 😏

Thanks, Parker! I had been saving a long time. Was almost to the point where I could purchase it, then they made a slightly updated model, and cut a huge chunk off of the price of all of their older ones in stock. The "old" version suits me fine, and I purchased it as soon as I saw the beast had gone on sale. "Substantial" is a good word.

I have to agree with you on the thick, developed lower body of a man who squats. Holy damn. I'll keep ya updated on the machine. I'm sure there will be a frustrated blog post about it at some point. lol

Progress of building the machine or building myself? 😉

I'm so happy I could entertain you and Phil, molly. 😋 And thanks! I'm glad it's here!

Thanks! It's just over 300 lbs of steel in... god, I don't even know how many parts right now. The delivery guys just left. Total pros. It's funny - being a part of the Operational workings of a clinical system, the things that I notice and appreciate. Smooth operators are definitely included in that. Okay... now, to convince my buddy the engineer to come help me put it together.

That call. The one you wait for. The one that will complete you. The call, that has the power to turn even a terrible week into a great one. I just got it. Wayne: "Hello?" Caller: "Hello. Is this Wayne?" Wayne: "Yep, that's me." Bearer of Joy: "Well, I've got your delivery. I'm in McKinleyville, but I should be at your door in a 1/2 hour." Six-Year-Old Trapped in Adult body: *Avoids screeching in glee only through tremendous act of will. Instead, clears throat like a normal adult* "Excellent. Ah, it'd be best to pull around through the alley." Bearer of Joy: "Sounds good. We'll do whatever we need to do to make it go smooth." Barely Contained Wayne: "Sounds great. See you soon." Hangs up, dances around like a heathen for a split second, then is brutally reminded my legs are still very sore. But that's okay. Pain can't steal my joy. Yep. My smith machine is on the way. Hurray! 😀

I am SO amused right now! Hehehe. I ordered a big, heavy piece of equipment through Amazon early last week. Well, since I didn't pay for express shipping, Fed Ex scheduled delivery for 9 July. Our of curiosity I tracked it. Well, the thing arrived in town two days after I ordered it (19 June). So it's literally just sitting in their damn warehouse, all because I wouldn't shell out a big chunk of change to rush it. Well, Fed Ex just called. They hate the big box taking up space in their warehouse. Asked if they could deliver my machine tomorrow vs July 9. "Yes. That would be acceptable. 11 AM - 2 PM? Yep. That works. See you then." Hung up, cackling with glee. I was then informed by coworkers that when I beat the system, I have a laugh like a supervillain.

If anybody is offended by that then you'll know they are who the sign is born to serve.
