  1. Jeff, I don't put in half the work you do in my stories. Personally, I couldn't care less how much time passes between an author's posts. I care more about the chapter's substance and spending time with characters I care about. Sometimes I can get three or more chapters out in a week and sometimes it takes me six months to a year between chapters. My excuse is really bad ADHD and writing myself into corners. You are awesome!
  2. This chapter is so heartbreaking and real. I could physically feel the pain and smallness Jaime feels under the weight of his father. Hopefully, he can find a way out of the abuse and hell he's living that won't lead to him being so crushed he commits suicide.
  3. @Jeff Burton, the way you express your character's emotional depth is exceptional. You create these amazing people with such realness that you could see yourself encountering them on any random day walking around town or an artsy outdoor mall. I love how Luca is taking his time immersing Jaime into his world and introducing him to his friends, and people who will help him grow as a person and in his creativity. Damn, I hope these two spend their lives together. They seem so good for each other. Thank you for giving us another amazing chapter.
  4. Ok, this is the first chapter I've read of this story. It's fucktabulously AMAZING!!! Your writing is incredible.
  5. This is the first chapter I've read of this story, and I'm already in love with these guys. It's awesome to see their shyness slowly give way to allow them to open up to each other for the support and much needed love they can provide one another. Awesome chapter @Jeff Burton.
  6. @Lee Wilson needs some loving cuddles and a ticklish massage.
  7. I'm so happy that the dream part of the chapter has resonated with you guys. As usual, I just let the characters show me what they wanted to happen, and everything fell into place. Since Dakota's parents were never given names or seen in Ticklish Thriller, in this story I thought why not give them some page time, and I was inspired by how the grandmother in Charmed, Penny Halliwell would occasionally make an appearance and was able to be hugged and interacted with, just like she was still alive, and wanted to have the deceased parents and grandmother be able to do the same.
  8. Ask and you shall receive, @Summerabbacat.
  9. I'm waiting too, @Paladin.
  10. I knew it, @Lee Wilson and totally agree with @chris191070.
  11. Since I cozily, and mysteriously tied you up and tickled you, @chris191070. Love you, Daddy Chris.

    Legends

Thanks, @Paladin. I really appreciate it. I don't think I ever saw anyone who wrote about that possibility before. However, I never read much of the fantasy genre so it could be out there. It looked amazing in my head and I remember not being able to wait to get it down on paper.
  13. @Bry Bryant, Awesome first chapter and it's a very strong beginning for a first story. I love your characters, especially the playfulness, and teasing between them.
  14. I loved this chapter. It's just too adorable.
  15. @chris191070 I loved how this chapter turned out. It was so awesome seeing Anthony getting to be with his Dad for the first time.
  16. @Greg Thanks for sticking with me on this. It's been really fun giving my Ticklish Thriller boys a slightly altered existence as a blended family with my collaborator's boys.
  17. While dreaming, Anthony visited a peaceful and sunny meadow, with white fluffy clouds decorating the azure blue sky overhead. An intoxicating scent of blooming flowers floating along the light breeze tickled the young man's sense of smell as it was slowly and deeply breathed into the twitching nostrils of his aquiline nose. Mother Nature directed a symphony she created from the perfect balance of the birds' singing, blended with the gentle roar of the waterfall a few feet away. Airy, b

    Chapter 6

@Paladin, You've created another amazingly intriguing and enjoyable chapter. With every new chapter I find more to love about these characters. Gotta say, despite her bringing in new evidence, I would love seeing Edith publicly shamed and threatened with a lawsuit for calling Cameron and Jordan pedophiles without knowing them or the situation.

    R.I.P.

I truly appreciate this chapter, @Late to the party. Twenty four years or so ago I tried making fried chicken. Mind you, before that night I'd never done this before, but wanted to make my husband a nice dinner. However, what he came home to was smoke billowing from the apartment and the smoke alarm blasting. Hehe I'm skipping around your story, and from what I've read so far, and I love your characters.
  20. Wow! I'm late to this party. Hmm, after reading this thread, it seems like being fashionably late was the way to go. First, I want to say thank you to anyone who's read anything I've posted. I know my stories aren't exactly mainstream content. I'm very grateful. @Jason Rimbaud, @mcarss, @Thirdly, @chris191070, @ReaderPaul, and @Krista, I thoroughly enjoyed, and agreed with your passionate and well thought out responses. You guys rock. Guys, I know that I don't have to make any statements, but after reading the op's revised comments, vs the original versions that got quoted, I'd like to apologize for the manner LS' comments were expressed. If I knew this was how they operated, I'd never have suggested they post here. The one thing I gushed about was the welcoming community spirit, civility and moral support the authors and readers share with one another, and how even on my crappiest posted chapter, no one made any harsh or disrespectful comments and the criticism was constructive, not destructive. (There are many chapters I've posted that make me cringe. ) Personally, I've enjoyed everyone I've interacted with on here and am grateful for the site's authors and readers especially since both parties need each other to make GA work. Love y'all.
  21. I wrote this in 2022 for a wonderful person and close friend who gave to others more than he took from them. His positivity and loving spirit touched many hearts throughout his life.
  22. A shining rainbow in the dark Love’s beacon from the start Gentle healer you’ve gone too soon You lived life and had a zest Bur your body needed rest Gentle healer may you be at peace Like a battery you gave and gave Till death took you like a knave Gentle healer you’ll never be forgotten With hopeful joy in your soul You fixed hearts, made them whole Gentle healer watching over us all our days
  23. The 2017 revision of a poem I wrote back in 2011.
  24. Angel crashed out of the sky Broke his wings from the fall In pain he cried I want to die He beat his head against a wall As I watched the horrid scene A surge of love awoke my heart Kissed his cheek and got him clean A broken angel was my new start
