    Aye, sadly the phrase "I'm not a Doctor, but I play one on TV" doesnt translate well Apparently there was fear over violant reprocussions against the young actors due to some scenes in the film.

    As long as it includes a list involving more then one candidate. You can leave yourself off as apparently you already have a title. On the plus side however, your'll be a nice bonus to whomever is lucky enough to earn such pride of place.

    It would be wonderful if it worked this way, but you were voted Queen by a fair and impartial election that was open to all members of GA. Not some backroom dealings that no members had a role in until after the fact. Even then the election was swayed by certin naferious caprian factions. Sorry Cj even with my adament stance on abdicating in favor of a fair and open election, you are still our presiding queen :king: steve

    It should also be noted while it works on Amazon's proprietary whispernet ( through Sprint cellular networks) there is no monthly charge to the purchaser for access to the network. Also regaurding the word doc. I was under them impression that the device has an email address you can send stuff to. It's not word but it will work in a pinch if you copy and paste what ever you are working on -or- reading into an email and shoot it off the the device. So yeah it looks very interesting, especialy where textbooks are concerned. Though I only really use 1 of the four I purchased to any extent

    rest assured he very well did. He claims that the five seperate members all have authority to edit posts, yet this post appeared as you see it now, no edits, with theses five salacious votes while I was in the forum. and beast... thats the beauty of it

    I'd also suggest looking at an apple macbook. with the new OSX Leopard and an intel based chipset you can have the mac dual boot to either OSX or Windows xp or Vista. Down side is you will have to purchase a copy of windows to do this. Another downside is price. Macbooks run from $1099.00 to $1499.00 US. Other then that I would go with Jame's recomendation of HP, I have two a notebook and a desktop and never have had issues with either. The Dell's I had the pleasure of playing with though :wacko: Steve

    This does not denote 5 (five) seperate members is the designated roles. It appears to me that this is the same person, and we all know that one person can not have more then one vote. This only further nullifies this ratification process. Furthermore, this vote was not held in a public place rather the private forum of one of GA's hosted Authors. I am ashamed but such a naferious attempt but what obviously must be a caprian faction bent on undermining the democratic process of GA's membership.

    Dear goat with the commitee's decision and the ensuing election nullified I am no longer deserving of such a title till such time as 5 (five) members of GA in the appointed roles step forward and ratify their vote in a public forum whilst taking other authors as deserving of the title into consideration. Once that task has been completed and yet another general concesus of the GA membership is ratified I will gladly reclaim my title. Sadly, until such a momentous event occurs I must denounce the title as a shame. Surely democratically minded indiviual as yourself can see the logic of my decision.
