    Happy early birthday Julian. Sounds great, but I’ll go one Better for you - I have a springform pan and make my own - they are so good homemade, but I’ve had them fall on me a couple times and that is a bit disappointing... being French, you should try it. 😋 Although baking your own birthday pie might be going too far...

    Great chapter, where domI even start??? It was so cute the way you wrote about Salem calling Johnny “babe”. I can’t wait to hear that someday as well. The way you described Johnny’s thought about discovering how talented Salem is, was terrific. Then the cheesecake — when you first wrote cherry I thought about the gross canned red cherry pie filling plopped on top, but then you redeemed yourself with the description of the black cherry... it seems like Salem, with Johnny’s help, is finally putting his life on track. are you that good at playing the piano?

    Wow! This chapter started off so dark, but Johnny seemed to rally himself at the end - with Salem’s help... As always, your poetry was beautiful - you have a gift. Keep the chapters coming.

    It’s about damn time that they both grew a pair. Finally!!. Nice plot twist with Heath’s eccentric family and twin brother, ... can’t wait to read what you have in store for them next and what Aiden’s boss says when he calls in sick, right after getting a promotion.

    OK, I now believe that Don has no redeeming qualities at all. I really hope he is divorced from the picture before he does any more damage to the kids. I really like playful atmosphere and how you portray Daniel and robbie’s relationship. Daniel is a great brother to Robbie.

    What an Ass Chris is - why doesn’t he stop and think about what he is showing in regards to his character and how Josh is going to think about that instead of just going off half cocked? If he does this, he’s lost Josh forever

    I can’t fathom a parent ever treating anyone much less their own child like that. There is a special place in hell for them, I can’t imagine how much it would tear up a child to be treated like that by Those who are supposed to love and be supportive of he / she. the story is starting to heat up and I can’t put it down.

    It will be interesting to see how Aidan reacts once he finds out Heathcliff secured his promotion for him. Great scene with Heathcliff finally giving into Aiden’s desires, but It’s frustrating to see the two of them dance around their feelings for one another without being honest.

    Very odd and uncomfortable scene. While it’s great the boys have developed a trusting relationship with Josh, this seems unrealistic for any teenager to do and a little creepy; especially given Josh is their principal too.

    Even though he is hurting, Amara showed how strong he is by recognizing what he needs and asking for help. It’s been great to see all these relationships develop. While it does seem like the story is coming to an end point, I’ll miss it. Another great chapter,
