Well I’m a bit of a literary masochist, I absolutely love when authors just stomp on my heart and then burn it afterwards. Happy ending or not, I love this series.

Not gonna lie, you got me hooked. Saw this chapter uploaded and I was “wtf is the dreamtrap,” and then I was “book 4 in the series? What’re the other ones,” and then afterwards I was like “spectre’s gamble seems like a cool title,” fast forward a few hours and now I’m here waiting for the next chapter of exitus. Very well done.

100% agree with what you said about August, but Chris deserves a little leeway here. Yes he’s being immature, and unfair, but he had already been given cause for concern about Gustav coupled with the fact that Chris’s life, recently, has been one sucker punch of mystery after another I think that, while what you said is true, Chris deserves a teeny tiny bit of leeway. I can’t speak for parents, but from my experience with my own parents, when your kid is hurt you care a lot less about the story and more about the punk who did it and how to put your kid back together. -Etotsira
