    Chapter 2

All the theories and speculations are just as entertaining as the story. Another great chapter. I think that last line pretty sums up how CJ feels about Danny. I'm so excited about where this story could be going.

    Chapter 1

Great to be back at the Triple J and seeing all the gang again, including our four leged friends.
  3. Bravo. Hats off for a great story. Nolans' fight was difficult but also inspirational. This tiny fighter brought love to those around him and they all repaid him with interest. Seeing him victorious at the end couldn't be more satisfying. Thanks for sharing this, awesome work.
  4. Nolan has so much going for him. Every day he's making progress whether he knows it or not. His mother has got the right idea.....one day at a time.
  5. It will take time to heal all Nolans wounds, Time and the love of his friends and family. Fortunately he has that in abundance. The most important love he needs, is to be able to love himself. Liam made a very good point. His father should take time to work on his issues first and then think about trying to salvage some kind of relationship with his sons. Another awesome chapter to a great story which is sadly drawing to an end, just a couple chapters to go.
  6. Stirling is going to cause a problem still, being outted may make him even more dangerous. Liams' father has a nerve. But it would probably be best to face him if it avoids any unnecessary complications like custody hearings. You can never quite bank money on hoe those things go.
  7. Good on you Nolan for facing up to Tracy. He seemed genuinely sorry, but this was about Nolan exorcising his demons and Tracys' feelings don't count right now. Connor and Tobi, too cute and a much better fit. Sorry Richie. How's Stirling going to take this. Good on you Justin for sticking with your bro, I mean, where does Grace get off dissing Henry like that, what's he ever done to make her think so poorly of him. The guys gay so is going to end up a bully and a thug like her brother???? Not very graceful.
  8. Wow some real drama. If Stirling is into Tobi and taking it out on Connor, he's really going to go off if Tobi and Connor get together. Liam's going to find out about Tracy. The last piece in the puzzle.
  9. Tread carefully Randy, you may not like what you find. Damn, I don't think anyone knew Tobi had some moves, way to go. Now, if you hadn't slept with Sterling earlier I'd be absolutely loving you right now. Tobi, what are you doing???
  10. With the trial behind him Nolan seems a lot happier and freer, swimming in the pool, kissing in public. Bar the occassional relapse he's looking and feeling genuinely happy. Am I detecting homophobic vibes from Grace? Surely not. She seemed to be comfortable with the boys and not really care. Is she getting pressured by her other friends? Still plenty of dramas in the works no doubt.
  11. I know the defense lawyer was only doing his job, but it still rubs you raw. We did get a major breakthrough though with Nolan finally remembering the details of his final rape. Small consolation but it gives him something to work on toward his ongoing healing. It hurts to see him hurt so much and you just want to wrap him up and take away his pain. And yes Liam, I too would probably threaten all manner of retribution against those fekkers if I were there.
  12. Randy is so perceptive and yet out of all of them Connor seems to be the only one to have guessed the connection to what's in the news. Good on Tobi for standing up for his friends. When he didn't get a reaction from slapping and going off at Sterling, it made me wonder if there might be some truth in what he was thinking. Could Stirling be holding back because he has actual feelings for Tobi that he doesn't want to face up to? Can't imagine why Grace would want to know who was gay and why it would even matter. Unless she has her eye on someone, they are her friends and that shouldn't come into it. Afterall, she did approach them even when all the rumours were flying around. The trial is going to be difficult especially with Harrison contesting. A lot will come out and Nolan will have to live it all again, only this time not in his dreams. This may very well cause a major breakdown for Nolan. Hopefully Liams' presence will be enough to keep him grounded, I'm expecting some real courtroom drama.
  13. Don't want to keep harping on but Nolan needs professional help. I actually know there are people who scoff at councilling and that sort of thing. I actually used to be one of those people, thinking I could always sort my own shit and didn't need help. I learnt my lesson the hard way. Sure it's not the magic cure bit it does help if only to open your eyes and give you other options and alternatives. I don't necessarily agree with the kind of psychology that involves throwing pills at you although I'll concede in extreme cases they may be a necessary temporary stop gap. If Randy keeps digging he'll help unlock a vital clue to help in Nolans' recovery. Obviously the pressures of the upcoming trial are getting to Nolan. If he can find the courage and support to face his demon it will go some way to giving him closure and some peace of mind. Noone with a heart could possibly read this story and not feel for that poor boy. It may be fiction, but your writing makes Nolan and his struggles so real, well done.
  14. Good on Tobi.Least he has the strength and dignity to stop his raging hormones from allowing himself to be used. Without even having to ask, he probably already knew the answer to the question but just needed to hear it. It makes me angry to think Sterling would engage in gay sex but then judge and bully others who he assumes do likewise, worst kind of hypocrite. I guess now that Paul and Harrison have been dealt to we need a replacement villain and Sterling fits that role nicely. Shame really, he's real cute according to Tobi, just ugly on the inside.
  15. Bingo! Is it ironic the homophobic bully likes a little M/M action. I wonder why they stopped, maybe the Henry crush, and would Tobi seriously want to go back there again. Gosh this school may need to form a SGA to cater to the straight minority.
  16. Sex and food, the teenage mind process. Loved that Dylans' dad was so accepting and supportive. Helps break the stereotype of sports coaches. Probably a bit late to apply the safe sex rule but if it makes him feel better and gets you free condoms, why not. He may later come to regret it when you start going through a box a day. I'm glad Liam gave a bit of a man-up nudge to Nolan. Sometimes a gentle push can do wonders. Dunking Nolan later was funny, could've backfired but in this instance, just like the pep talk, was probably the best medicine. Even coach mentioned how much his happy smile was missed. After these brief glimpses, looking forward to seeing Nolan really shine.
  17. Yup, the fact Nolan can start to talk/write about his ordeals and the trust he shows in Henry suggests he has begun to reach a turning point. That he allowed the intimate contact is further proof he is coming back to his truer self. Probably still a ways to go but at least he's headed in the right direction. Now that Henry has made his feelings known, there's a real chance at happiness for both of them. One other obstacle he will need to face in his ongoing healing is Tracy, but let's not rush things....baby steps.
  18. I'm really surprised Nolan hasn't gotten some proper help i.e. councilling. Surely everyone can see he needs it. It's good that he has the support of Liam and his friends, but then, they're not actual professionals and wouldn't have all the necessary skills and experience to give him the kind of help he really needs. Even Nolan has admitted to himself that his overdependence on Liam may be holding him back. I get the feeling that Tobi has something to hold over Ster, it's not the first time he's hinted he could stop the bully. I'm wondering if they may have had a secret little encounter that Sterling would be embarrassed about anyone knowing. I hope Grace will now be a regular member of the group. At least her and Connor can rekindle their old friendship.
  19. Awww getting Connors' POV was awesome. He seems like such a good kid, you wonder why anyone would want to pick on him and not be his friend. I hope he does realise these are true friends who will be there for him when his dad and older brother can't be. Lovely chapter.
  20. Sterling is probably the stereotypical school bully, used to getting his way and having noone stand up to him or at least report him. Hopefully the group can rally to protect each other and make Sterling realise they won't tolerate his shit. After this I will likely check in on Greyson and co in your other story.
  21. Safety in numbers. Again I'm a little surprised the group didn't do something sooner to reel Connor back in rather than wait for Nolan to return. It comes across looking like they are only bothered with Connor when Nolan is around. Tracy likely doesn't know what happened with Nolan. I dread to think what will happen when he tries approaching him. The teacher was a dick and should have at least seen Nolan was in distress and tried to offer help instead of being so anal about school rules. As much as Nolan needed to get back to school it probably is a bit too soon and he may have been better off waiting a few more days for Liam to start. I hope someone has offered councilling, that's normally automatic in rape cases and he certainly needs it. Anxiety attacks are a clear warning sign that shouldn't be ignored.
  22. I'm glad the mom finally took steps to move her and her children away from that abusive environment. Looks like everyone is going to be making a new beginning, perhaps they can help each other find their way. I felt especially sorry for Leif, I know he would have been absolutely terrified. At least he had a good older brother to protect him.
  23. There's still a bit of mystery behind Liam's story. I'm guessing that dad more than just get drunk and go to jail to prompt their sudden move to town. Guess we'll just have to wait till Liam is ready to tell his story. Let me continue to make guesses, his perceptiveness about Henrys' feelings for Nolan are because he's probably gay as well? Lots to keep us interested in the story. Chapter was short but good. I'm really beginning to love this story.
  24. The real nightmare may be over but poor Nolan has a lot of issues to deal with. Having Liam there, albeit a stranger, will be a big help. Someone on the outside who isn't too close might be a good source of comfort and support and for now he won't have to feel embarrassed or ashamed in front of his friends. I'm especially glad to see his mom is also there for him. I think she was initially portrayed as uncaring and too busy. From a young perspective this might have appeared true, but in reality as a single mom raising two teenagers I get she's been working hard to take care of her family. I believe her when she says they won;t ever see Paul again.....good ! That must have been as hard to write as it was to read, great job on this chapter.
  25. Yes. Hope Nolan recovers and that his personal nightmare is finally over. I'm hoping paul has been sent away or will Nolan end up elsewhere? Is the mysterious appearance of cousin Liam a clue as to Nolans' future. My initial thoughts for Paul were a nice cell getting bitched out to every inmate, but then noone deserves that, not even that scumbucket. Just so long as Nolan is good now, that's all that matters.
