I don't claim to know The "Family "do's and don't but one thing I have heard about is its rule that you never kill a cop.And as you mentioned there are three vets and more importantly one active cop.Does the Costa family know that if they try to get the Raven or Elias by force and the job goes awry well easily someone like Officer Wells could perish in the crossfire and that would not be good for them.

The only reason I can see why Harlan took pictures of what Elias is working on to show to The Don is that The Don is an art aficionado. If there is another reason I don't have a good enough imagination to figure it out. So the conflict I see (and apparently other readers also) Elias is making this for Jeremy if the Don offers a price for it that would keep the Raven project going will Jeremy or Elias be conflicted?

I found this story very educational wait don't leave yet. This is being done in the context of a very interesting entertaining story not from a dry presentation in a classroom.So not only will you be introduced to good characters you will come to like along with a good romance story you will learn something can you imagine that?

A couple of fun days.There were a couple of puzzling things about Lakeside Amusement Park why wouldn't they sell food? It's basic business to maximize revenue especially with the type of prices other places of this type charge. And the kid who took off the safety harness at the Zoom drop tower you would think they would have a system where the ride doesn't operate until all the safety harnesses are connected. A friend told me about the Michael Garman Museum and if what he told me was correct you left out THE most important part that they give everybody a complimentary popcorn on their tours.For me THAT would have sealed the deal. Seriously this sounds like a bucket list place for me to go to also Poor Richard's Restaurant some of that stuff sounds great I really enjoyed part one and are eagerly awaiting part 2 so for now I will say Merry Christmas and when you post the next chapter I will then say to you Happy New Year

I'm guessing Jeremy's funding problem will be solved after Harlen speaks with The Don he's the only one with the resources to do it I would think. I had a friend part of a family that lived across the street from us die at a tragically young age she was in her late twenties about 15 years later her daughter came to visit her grandmother and then went to see us .The way she looked and spoke I would have sworn I seen a high school version of her Mother. If you're a fan of this author then you are familiar with his stories this story has the all the elements and characteristics of his other stories if you are freaked out by all the chapters don't be the chapters are easy to read but are in no way simple.The most similar story of his to this is A Child Haven if you liked that one then you'll love this. This author has told us he is getting up in years so please appreciate him while he is still with us
