I have deliberately be vague in this review lest I reveal too much of the story. But what happens in this story happens in a lot of GA stories and sadly we hear of this IRL also. This story conveys and helps you emphasize with that situation.The plot develops on a slow pace which some readers commented on but I believe that was the right way to do this very nuanced and you understand and relate to all perspectives.Highly recommended just be patient

Oh they definitly will be in my memories. I don't know @Tony S. if you are familiar with a story called A To Z by @Parker Owens or if many followers of this story know that story.But Matt and Kitt reminded me of Andy and Zander of that story.There were differences in the circumstances of course but I kept thinking of them while reading this story.I mean that as high praise.

Not to sound like a broken record but @Philippe gave me an opening. And what he wrote is spot on. And this could morph into something more. Imaging Killian and Jacy perhaps BF or maybe not for the time being just close friends (eventually leading to more)working on a case with Chris joining them more often than not. A series of stories involving those three on cases would work out well. As I said, you haven't been on your own since you were sixteen. Well I was thinking like @Summerabbacat that Kitt would stay in Riverbend and wait for Matt perhaps both of them move in with Tom and Harbor. The only worry I have for Kitt is while I don't doubt Stephen is sincere will some of his control freak ways return? Will Kitt be "Home" or at the Everests?

Well the previous two comments covers Alex quite well but what up with Cody? Being thrown out of your house for being gay is terrible but it doesn't make it OK saying “That filthy little Mexican twink?” and “It’s a shithole country,”. Those very off putting qualities Alex has. I too would be sympathetic to what happened to Alex but I would NEVER be his BF.One possible explanation is Alex can only stay at Cody's house if he is Cody's BF and Cody may be reluctant to have Alex out on the streets. But it may be time research other options for Alex. -
