    Max is out of the picture(in a romantic way quicker then most of us expected) Now I wonder if Max will be the one to tell Kyan what to do and how to do it. It think it's safe to say seeds have been sown. “Everyone is going to be eaten alive but me because I’m dressed like a Mormon teenager at his first dance.” I might of gone with Amish teenager but still a great line. Perry was right about one thing the guy who grabbed Kyan's ass must have been one of those guys who "dig the early aughts skater vibe.”

    I agree with @Dan South incredible play list other then Swarm's original songs I knew every song great except one I would go see these guys. I do wonder about doing The Devil Went Down to Georgia without the fiddle. I heard a version of that by Jerry Reed and although he was country he was a kick ass guitarist as you probably know and it sounded good.But to me it doesn't sound like a good idea for Swarm to do it. Pete showed himself to be incredibly smart by his reaction to the shyster record company looking forward to reading that.I hope Michelle becomes their manager

    Actually my thought was this isn't all that far removed from actual Rock band stories I heard. I liked RB at first . So going back to how the story started with Eddie being mad at Pete was it based on what happened in this chapter or did something else happen? Only one way to find out

    Unusual cliffhanger but definitely a cliffhanger.Perhaps there's another reason Matt is giving River the cold shoulder and its not to hard to imagine. To toss or run the ball, kick for one point or run for three… Hmm if River can't get that easy part of football maybe his classes won't go so well Gav put away so much food! Believe me, I got the receipt. Three quesadillas, six cheese roll-ups, and two beefy five-layers. Don’t forget the two Baja Blast freezes.....River says that like its unusual or something🤔

    Just discovered this story the songs mentioned here are in my wheelhouse.I'm surprised a young band would do The Last Resort but that's an awesome song Pete has to be a great singer if he's covering a song sung by Don Henley.Molly Hatchet was mentioned the song they should have done was" Flirting with Disaster". As far the other part of the story Pete seems to have a classic thing going on with Kathy but obviously Anthony and RB are going to complicate that RB in particular.It's late as I'm typing this so I'm going to do some binge reading on the tomorrow

    I am stunned to realize this has never been reviewed. Most GA readers have seen stories about kids with abusive fathers and for various reasons had to escape the situation .This one isn't conventional to say the least as Adam/Simon/JJ is blessed with a genius brain and a resourcefulness to survive that belies his tender young age of 13 (which he wasn't even sure of)Its a fun read as you go along every step of his journey

    If you're a fan of this author and are familiar with his other stories then you are going to love this.If you are not familiar with him he writes this story in a way that fills in a lot blanks reader might have .Also a lot of interesting varied topics gets discussed during the course that one could absolutely find interesting. Worth reading

    I like how many details of previous stories are addressed here while I have read a numbers of stories with the New York stories series tag there are just as many as I heaven't read. This was a good education of the nuances of the restaurant business specially after the pandemic when you see the practices of landlords on rent prices its no wonder we have inflation after the worst of the pandemic . A couple of questions Carl got a car as part of a scholarship from Seton Hall wasn't that once illegal as hell to do? I'm also curious with their culinary backgrounds you ever though of having Franklin from the JJ story cross paths with Asher?

    This is going to freak out @Mrsgnomie but I figured out what the problem Perry had before he told Kyan. Are we on the same wavelength? I bet she's more mad at me for saying that then anything I said before. I get a feeling the night at CC Slaughter's (That's the dance club right?) is going to be a doozy. A lot of readers have mentioned what a great Uncle Perry is and he is.It should also be mentioned Jessica is an awesome Aunt and sister-in law

    I have known a lot of people similar to River.(BTW I guess enough time has passed his parents might be River Phoenix fans) I love his sarcasm. The idea Gavin has about this place he would call JC's sounds great. Out here in Cali we have something like how JC"s was described a place called In-n-Out (not too suggestive is it) last I checked there isn't any on the east coast so a lot of readers won't know what I'm talking about but the place rocks. I have only problem with River.If Gavin is so hot WHY THE HELL DOES HE WANT HIM TO GET A BIGGER TOWEL!!!!!!!!!!
