Oh there are still cliques according to my nephew who goes to HS at the present time. Kids in general are more tolerant of gay kids these days but there is even more of a dynamic going on here.When I went to HS somebody like Finn and somebody like Alec weren't even allowed to be buddies let alone a couple .It is almost being complete opposites that is causing the reaction.Judging by Finns age he's graduating this year and we know Alec plan is to get out of this town I can see him breaking this off on his own because it's better for Finn in the long run.Whether that's wrong or right It would be understandable for Alec to think that.
