It must be very difficult for Mike and Carol to get a mechanic otherwise why put up with all the BS Jack does apparently not just to Devlin but to the rest and since Billy seems to pal around with Jack is he an ass also? There hasn't been any description of Angela in regard to her age unless I missed it.If she's on the younger side could she be into Devlin?If so then how will she react if and when she finds out Devlin is gay? If Angela is on the older side then perhaps she has a motherly instinct toward Devlin and is trying to protect him from Jack.This situation just cannot go on status quo. If Jack gets fired then you can absolutely see Jack doing something to retaliate

Besides from the obvious there are some red flags here. The want ad notice was a couple of months old yet there was a position open for Devlin could that be because the mechanic is an ass? And why was Carol frowning at the end of the chapter? Devin is not wearing a rainbow flag patch or something is he?And if they do find out Devin's gay with that small group could that be a problem? I'm not familiar with this kind of place what's the purpose of it? This place was described as a quite a ways away so that would mean if Marc ,Brady, or Kyle are looking for Devlin it just became that much harder to find him. I keep thinking about the title of the story and that tells me this place isn't going to work out for Devin especially with that a-hole mechanic I can see panic attacks happening here. If Marc or the others manage to track him down here he most likely will be already gone to God knows where

Well the way you wrote it we will see the Hartonin in the future.Perhaps in the next Charlie Boone story .You may have it already written it. A couple of question from someone with a very very limited understanding of how science fact and science fiction work so forgive me if these are dumb questions.First how did the Hartonin on the vessels survive for 25,000 years? And second whoever took the "spiky thingo" the first time obviously didn't get the chance to this time around would that be enough to change the course of events from that point? After reading @raven1 new comment from last chapter I decided to read Andy and Delia's conversation again and like you said in your comment Andy was no relation to Gunnar. So this may or may not be something you would deal with in a possible future story but after all this time and with Katherine being dead is it even possible Andy could find out who his bio-Dad was? Delia had no idea the only possibility I would think is if Allan knew who his sister was with. Just another nerdy thought

The consensus seems to be that The Hartonin will do the same thing and suffer the same fate but I got to believe now that The Hartonin knows what happened and they with help of Max and co. could find a way to avoid that. In other going back in time stories it is believed if you go back in time and change something then the present time which you came from might be different and there could be consequences.Maybe this kind of thinking is at play here. What I'd like to add to what Garrett said to Andy is Parker wrote that in way where you could really emphasize with Andy.When Andy wrote that his eyes started to blur with tears and something was suddenly caught in his throat I pretty much reacted the same way Andy did.

I have very little understanding on this topic but If I understand it right Devlin might literally be broke pretty soon because whatever he has left of his bitcoin investment will be gone because bitcoin went thought a bad stretch like I said I don't understand bitcoin at all but I know it's bad. If that is the case perhaps Ash will need to clear the woman's name so Elias can go to his resting place like I said just a guess.Can't wait to find out
