Baby steps.But there will be hurdles no matter which direction it goes.For Leander to be with Luke he would pretty much have to leave his family and all that he's known or Luke would have to travel with him and leave his Dad,Taz and that town which has been everything he's known.Does Leander family actually expect him to stay with the family and their business for life? Leander implied that his family would have problem with the same sex issue if he got together with Luke so maybe Leander would have to leave his family because they said so.One thing for certain if this has any chance of going anywhere from here Luke has to be an open book and tell Leander EVERYTHING about him and his issues. -

Forgive me for this.This is the douchebag nerd in me wondering about this. The part that said "The attorney assured him his parents’ bank assets would be transferred to his account by the end of the week." Back in 2014 I was an Estate executor and I was told then by the bank involved that you have to wait 40 days after the date of death before funds can be distributed and I'm in California Like Elijah is.It really doesn't matter as to how good the chapter was but is there something different here compared to what I had to do maybe the rules are different for an attorney as opposed to an executor

Good catch by @spyke about the laptop being in the car but as mentioned by others with kbois you never know. I guess it is part of Kage job to ask about Sebastian we don't know one way or another if this was part of the Boss instructions or if Kage is doing this on his own. There's a chance that Kage ,the Boss or both has crossed paths with Sebastian in the past. All all I know once Sebastian gets wind of what Huntington has done then Huntington better be looking over his shoulder

If this thing with Leander goes anywhere I could see Luke's condition blowing that up.But maybe Leander won't be a crutch and perhaps he might be the vehicle that points Luke in that direction BTW another character whose name begins with an L what up with that? -

A couple or reactions one of Luke's thoughts "Excellent. I've finally met my Wonderboy, who, once he found out I was gay, couldn't get away quickly enough. Jeez he had to get back to work it wasn't necessarily because of that.But the thing Taz said"Well, I've stuck all my reputation and your hopes on red tonight. Hopefully, later we'll find out if we won or not." That sounds like he put something in motion.Hmm despite what I wrote in the last chapter comment maybe Taz is a qualified match-maker🤞 -

You mentioned that Wonderboy may not even be working at the fair a few chapter comments ago but I figured you wouldn't have mentioned him unless there were plans for him to appear in the story.I suppose it's still possible Taz found another person instead of Wonderboy but it should be interesting either way. BTW just because Taz read about the King and the Criminal how does that make him qualified to be a matchmaker for Luke? I would have picked picked hanging by the rope also.So the King gave the Criminal a choice between that or what's behind the door?He must've been a Let's Make A Deal fan(A U.S. TV show in case you Brits don't know what I mean) -

Kage is a very interesting character. Still undecided on his boss whether he is good or evil but it certainly sounds like Huntington is your classic villainous POS.Curious how Elijah parents got possession of the laptop. Not an important detail but geez no way Elijah should have been working that day after what happened. I remember taking a spelling test in grade school and the word "antidisestablishmentarianism" came up we all went "WHOA!" I spelled it right though😀. I never dreamed I would actually see the word being used somewhere......Showoff😄 BTW @chris191070was so antsy fo the chapter to be posted WHERE IS HE?????🤔
