Forgive me for this. This is the douchebag nerd in me wondering about this. The part that said "The attorney assured him his parents’ bank assets would be transferred to his account by the end of the week." Back in 2014 I was an Estate executor and I was told then by the bank involved that you have to wait 40 days after the date of death before funds can be distributed and I'm in California Like Elijah is.It really doesn't matter as to how good the chapter was but is there something different here compared to what I had to do maybe the rules are different for an attorney as opposed to an executor

Yeah I agree isn't it annoying when people involved with the story use the chapter comments to bicker back and forth to the point where you forget what the story is about? WHO DOES THAT?.........oh

I have to admit I'm surprised about Leander wanting to meet at 1 A.M. Call this my unhealthy overactive imagination.Any chance the stalker might have been close by enough to know what was going on in Luke's world? You know where I'm going with this?Any chance the texts are from him using a burner phone instead of Leander?OMG what if it's Leo or Lee?Okay I'll stop here

Good catch by @spyke about the laptop being in the car but as mentioned by others with kbois you never know. I guess it is part of Kage job to ask about Sebastian we don't know one way or another if this was part of the Boss instructions or if Kage is doing this on his own. There's a chance that Kage ,the Boss or both has crossed paths with Sebastian in the past. All all I know once Sebastian gets wind of what Huntington has done then Huntington better be looking over his shoulder

He wanted to but the last time Sam tried to order some @kboiscleaned out the suppliers

Oh sure now that we got the new chapter NOW @chris191070 wishes you a safe move.Seriously @kbois I echo what Chris said

If this thing with Leander goes anywhere I could see Luke's condition blowing that up.But maybe Leander won't be a crutch and perhaps he might be the vehicle that points Luke in that direction BTW another character whose name begins with an L what up with that?

Anybody who ignores that is a heartless bastard

A couple or reactions one of Luke's thoughts "Excellent. I've finally met my Wonderboy, who, once he found out I was gay, couldn't get away quickly enough. Jeez he had to get back to work it wasn't necessarily because of that. But the thing Taz said"Well, I've stuck all my reputation and your hopes on red tonight. Hopefully, later we'll find out if we won or not." That sounds like he put something in motion.Hmm despite what I wrote in the last chapter comment maybe Taz is a qualified match-maker🤞

Thank God the girls think of them as friends. Is there going to be fight every day with Rafe at this place? Andre definitely is going to need some basic defense training

You mentioned that Wonderboy may not even be working at the fair a few chapter comments ago but I figured you wouldn't have mentioned him unless there were plans for him to appear in the story.I suppose it's still possible Taz found another person instead of Wonderboy but it should be interesting either way. BTW just because Taz read about the King and the Criminal how does that make him qualified to be a matchmaker for Luke? I would have picked picked hanging by the rope also.So the King gave the Criminal a choice between that or what's behind the door?He must've been a Let's Make A Deal fan(A U.S. TV show in case you Brits don't know what I mean)

if your good and the public wants to buy paintings they'll pay top dollar.Armand is going be OK. I'm guessing based on Armand's reaction to the possible newspaper article on him they want to limit membership to the club..Is that because of the limited size of the club?

You're the writer if you don't know who does?

How does that make anything different from what usually happens🤔

No way would I ever be THAT flexible OOOOOWWWW!!!!!

This is a kids bedtime story.......If the kids are from Children of the Corn or Damien

"Ahh, there he is, home from a hard day's work," Came Elaine's retched voice. The description Luke used makes it safe to say the situation with Elaine is not going to get any better any time soon if ever. Not good if you're going through what Luke is going through I would think.

How could you guess " What @kbois says" when she doesn't even know what she's going to say?

You're the first comment on page two You two actually made it though page one before you started your banter😄

The way Kage described himself as a loner and the nature of his work I wonder if he has any experience in this other than the occasional one night stand if that.I wonder if he'll makes a mistake or get the Boss mad due to his feelings toward Elijah

Kage is a very interesting character. Still undecided on his boss whether he is good or evil but it certainly sounds like Huntington is your classic villainous POS.Curious how Elijah parents got possession of the laptop. Not an important detail but geez no way Elijah should have been working that day after what happened. I remember taking a spelling test in grade school and the word "antidisestablishmentarianism" came up we all went "WHOA!" I spelled it right though😀. I never dreamed I would actually see the word being used somewhere......Showoff😄 BTW @chris191070was so antsy fo the chapter to be posted WHERE IS HE?????🤔

Just thought of something when is it 12:00 A.M. + one second where you live? I suspect that may be your response to @chris191070

In case @kbois lives in🇬🇧 it not Wednesday yet for her ...Oh wait I'm sorry I forgot the world revolves around @chris191070 forgive me (Kidding😄)

Some of those thing Luke mentioned" I don't want people to think I'm looking for sympathy" "I want to be on my own, and not pollute others with how I'm feeling." I have to confess I have had thoughts like that and can relate. You have me wondering if I have a lesser degree of what Luke has. I don't have the dreams Luke has but the dreams I do have make no sense or logic at all does that correlate? Now this stalker thing at the very least escalated to a huge red flag.Unless this guy lived on the street which I'm sure Luke would know if he did there is no reason he should be aware of Luke laying down on his lawn unless he got up and at that time of night and drove past Luke's house.Very disturbing sign. If "Wonderfucking boy" still works for the fair then chances are Luke will see him there.Oh boy🤞

🤔..........I can't ...I really can't
