That was an good start and I'm interested in seeing where this goes. -
Another knock out chapter. Thank you. George has taken first and decisive action. Caroline of course, is going to be outraged and will be furious at her public shaming. The last scene was 🔥 but I wonder how sensible it is to have sex with the brother of your wife's "well-endowed stud"? Still waiting on Lady Kendall's will. That will prove very interesting.

Yeah, I think Martinez prevents Swift from killing anyone else. Jase will use his power in Luxas, the one he was actually intended to save. They find Macy and solve the mystery. Inshallah.

Loads of good points above. But Jase certainly has a conundrum on his hands. He assumes he is doing good because Philip told him so. But what if... a big brain tease for sure. Something for Swift. What if he is simply following a script as well?

Well this is an interesting twist. 🤔 A few chapters ago I wondered if Lucas was number 40 rather than Macy. That urge to vomit when Jase placed his hand on Lucas says something to us. But now Jase is injured. Perhaps Lucas is meant to save him???? Oy vey

Well that went quite well all things considered. I suspect that Rick will accept Marc without hesitation. There is a story there. Rick was really upset about having been left out if the conversation based on assumptions of how he might react. Tim is a nice guy. Rachel is a classy lady. I hope they will find suitable partners.

Yep, nothing to add. So many possibilities. One thing is for sure- this story is a real page turner. Perhaps Lucas is Number 40 and not Macey.

Yeah. Anybody could be rhe dark agent. It might be Connie, or Scott or any of the police officers. And just as Swift might be the bad guy, he might be rhe good guy too. Who to trust???

Well there are certainly a lot of ideas in this thread. I think it's safe to say that Swift, while he might be a detective, is far more than that. But is he a power of good or evil? And why is Lucas immune to Jase' powers?

Well I think Lucas is in for an interesting tale but I think he will be fine with what Jase tells him, befuddled but fine. It is interesting that the drama at the police station has not been reported Who is powerful enough to keep something like that quiet? 🤫

This chapter brought a tear to me eye and a smile to my lips. Thank you. Wonderful writing. I hope Marc and Sawyer can sort this out now that Marc is half way out rhe closet. Poor Rachel. The 'beard' can be left in an awful mess. I do hope you find someone for her Libby.
