Well that was an interesting chapter. CJ was reckless but he is a teenager after all. Still, anything could have happened. I do hope Tom's wife will stand up to his father and that he will have contact again with his children.

Well done CJ. A Catholic priest really should know better than point a finger about sexual abuse. The Kennedys are just plain stupid. This was a moment they could have got their son back and gained an extra one. What a wasted opportunity. 😪 -

Everythyrhing you have said resonates with me. I grew up in South Africa and ABBA was huge. My first record was an ABBA seven single. I bought every vinyl they made I think. The funny thing is my chikdren now in their early 20s love ABBA. ❤

Summer is a story of a group of friends, all male and all gay. Enter CJ, the 15 year old son of one of the men. The story follows their lives through the summer of 2015. Well-written, this tale had me laughing, crying, fuming and turning to the next chapter. A fabulous read and the start of a long and entertaining series. A fantastic read!

Well that was a major ending. 😳 Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to starting the next in the series. I really like Doc. I think he must be the oldest in the group. Perhaps Tom, who was also married to a woman previously. Right-O on to Autumn.

I loved the shifting points of view. It was great to see briefly into the minds of each of these men. Delighted that Doc has been asked on a date. He deserves a bit of fun with a good guy.

This was a super chapter. Thank you. I'm delighted of course, that the will has been located and in the location we all suspected. But other, equally interesting discoveries have been made. The photo album of the boys is testament to a grandfather's love, but also the fact that he gave them nicknames. We only give positive pet names to people who we love. I'm interested to see how Marc's parents are going to react and also what it was in the album that Sawyer couldn't look at right then. 🤔 Thank you for this wonderful, engaging tale.

I'm so glad that CJ had a good experience in the Summer internship programme and that they are able to forge friendships with people who do not hold the same views they do. This is great stuff. Thank you for the historical context as well. It adds so much to the story line by anchoring it on reality.

I'm really glad that Finn and Sawyer are possibly on the mend. A life-saving story, may just be a relationship life-saver too. A lot of good ideas in the thread above. Getting Simone to testify may be a good way to give them more time. Time to search in the secret room if course. Thank you for this super story.
