I think that Marc and Sawyer are progressing. Sometimes you have to take a step backwards in order to move forwards. You know, that darkest hours are just before dawn...bla bla I really like these guys and look forward to them figuring this out. I think, at some level, Rachel understands what's going on.

Another great chapter. In a way I'm glad Marc and Sawyer were interrupted. Prolonging the gratification. 😆 The sooner Aunt May stops screeching about the doctor the better. Marc needs her still. And she still has a lot of enjoyment ahead. 😉 I think afinn and Karen are a match 😆

So Reba is totally aware of Marc and Sawyer. I think Tim is too. He has made 2 comments that indicate he is aware. Rick is switched on enough to notice that something is ip with Marc but not what it is. Let's keep an eye on Aunt May and not forget about Bruce and Rachel.

This is a fabulous story. I love rhe characters. Bruce is a beaut. I hooe he stays in the story. I'm really glad that Marc and Sawyer are moving along, but hope that Rachel isn't too badly hurt. Perhaps big Bruce Banner can help out 😉 😜

Well thatvwas a heated couple of confrontations. Marc will not be able to last for long and I don't rhink he should try to hard either. Their attraction to each other will be noticed by the others.

Despite it being small town America, I think most people will not worry about Marc's sexuality and for those who do worry, it will be a 7 day wonder. The renovation of the mansion could be very good for the town as well as bringing Marc and Sawyer into daily contact

I do understand Marc's reticence to come out in a small community. I hooe Swayer will give him the motivation to do so, although Sawyer is moving very quickly. This is a first meeting after all.

Yes, we know that George is no angel when it comes to morality. Nor is Caroline. When it comes to the normal business of life though, the difference between the two is rhat George acts on principal, where Caroline tends to do be unscrupulous in her dealings in order to advance her status in society.

A good point. He will need this kind of "beard" later in the story as He and Caroline begin separating.

A delightful story, Taking off the Mask, tells of youth and first love, of struggle and victory. This is a tale that had me crying and laughing and dreaming. A super read.
