Yet another chapter that reaffirms the quality of the writing and character development. I love that this story is about people who are a bit older. 40s heading for 50s. I get so tired of everyone being a perfect 28 or 33. Like Adam and Kai, I can't wait for the next chapter. I'm binge reading as I had allowed the chapters to build up after spotting the story line. 😅

The writing is superlative. You are developing the characters in such a skilled way that we don't consciously see it. Just brilliant!! Adam and Kai are getting to know each other in the way you can from a distance with time between each piece of correspondence. By the time they meet, it will, as others have said, be a reunion rather than a meeting.

A Decision for Jarren is a story of two men fighting their demons and finding each other. By doing so they discover that unity is strength and that together they can defeat their uncertainties, come to terms with their loss and move forward with love. I have read this story twice and give it a massive thumbs up 👍.

Oh boy, sending a photo in a letter. This is grand. For whatever reason these rwo men have been drawn into a correspondence that will allow them to become part of each other's lives. It is as though the Fates have willed it.

As a conscript into the South African Defence Force in the late 80s, I remember all too well the excitement of receiving letters from friends and family. These two are both quite formal, old-fashioned gentleman types. I'm intrigued and look forward to seeing where these letters take them. 🤔

What a magnificent story. Thank you for taking the time to write it, for responding to the comments and inviting us into Jarren and Nash's world. I've cried, laughed, smiled, bitten my nails and lived alongside our boys. I hope that 5 years on, they are living their best lives, that Keon's scars have been disguised under magnificent tattoos and that Liam is playing baseball. Thank you ❤️

Another wonderful chapter in the story of George Granger and Co. Calvert was wonderful with the children. When he and George were in attendance together for the children's presentation to the king, it felt like a family. Calvert's advice to George was spot on. As others have already said, rhis is a brilliant chapter. Opera is certainly a "like or don't like" artform with little room for uncertainty. Keith and Thomas have come such a long way together. They have grown and molded into one another. It is beautiful 😍.
