So Heyward was right on the mark about Greg having an air of vulnerability. He certainly has been through the mill. I'm glad he will becoming up to see the portraits and that we have a new and interesting character!

I did a jig when I saw that this chapter had landed. 😃 George and Daventry certainly have their work cut out for them. I suspect Cavendish, managing 5 seats in parliament, may have challenges from Caroline and her faction while George is away.

What a super chapter. I really enjoyed the conversation between Megan and Adam. Adam's advice was good and I think these two are going to gang up on their men many times over the next few decades Love it.

An intriguing chapter with Vaighan getting a glimpse into the life and collection of Heyward. Perhaps, as @centexhairysub suggests, Tim is Heyward's partner. Let's see. It would certainly be a yin and yang situation.

As @Gary L says, I'm for Mother! But I also agree that Nona has done well given her cultural and religious heritage. 👏 as others have said, she has done well and will be OK.

More rumors of Mr Heyward's financial woes. I wonder how much of it is fact. Vaughan to speak to a little group of exclusive people at an exclusive function. Not my scene at all. 😆

A very thought-provoking chapter. We see a little more of Heyward, the man. As @drsawzall says, I think Heyward may have a thing for Greg. Let's see how this pans out.

So we meet the mysterious Mr Heyward at last, and as @Summerabbacat suggests, he is a little like Jay Gatsby with an OTP house and an OTP party. An interesting character who may have an even more interesting proposition for Dante and Vaughan.

Nice to see this relationship developing. They have had a great bubble time, but moving it into the light a little, will be good too. 👍 Your writing, as always, is entertaining and has the comfortably warm quality we get from a favourite jersey or blanket on a cold day. -

Wonderful! I'm glad I waited a few months because now I have the joy of catching up. I like these 2 already. Perhaps this is strange but I'm glad Dan has medium sized equipment. He becomes real!! I am so tired of "only 9 inches but thick" 😆 🤣
