This trip is taking them past a number of landmarks from their old lives. A trio down memory lane as they go on. It seems like Brohm and Cormac have reached an understanding.

I saw that immediately as an option @drsawzall - Theodrik transporting them and saving 2 weeks. Im glad that Brohm has got his feelings out in the open and that he and Nathan can move forward.

Well the friendly demon returns for help. If his return to rhe underworld closes the portal for the goblings then I hope that Nathan and Brohm can figure a way, or perhaps rhe monk knows. A trip to Morgan might be on the cards.

Dog Whisperer is a short story of two men who find one another, whilst workong jobs they love. It is a pleasing mix of realism and hopefulness that lifts the spirit. A great weekend afternoon read.

Another super chapter. 👌 The two men are sorted with mistresses and society will be placated. I do hope that these convoluted living arrangements do not create more barriers than opportunities for Granger and Calvert to develop their own relationship.

What exactly are those squat little creatures- vileness personified. And what will that bite and stabbing pain up the arm produce? I hope it does not change Nathan on some way. Nathan is far too trusting, not a trait one would expect in a retired assassin. Eyes open for the coming chapters.

So we meet the beggar who calls himself Cormac. I wonder if that is his real name. 🤔 Tarn. 😔 😟 I liked him, but there was no way he could stay. Nathan and Brohm need to keep their tracks well and truly covered. Brohm gets a little too physical with Nathan at times and I hope he never gets pushed too far.

Tarn is back. I'm glad. He was such a huge help. I hope he can find a new purpose in life and that it will develop out of this opportunity from Nathan. It would feel redemptive. Brohm, of course, is totally justified in his anger. And as for the beggar... who knows what will come of it all.
