So now we have a woman in the group. Not just any woman, the 2 times great grandaughter of Wanda Pegfoot. She brings with her a sense of wisdom and perseverance. I think she will be a strong addition.

What a well written chapter! I was excited as Otis! These two are really getting to understand each other. Otis will need looking after and Hudosn will give that. Hudson needs love and caring and Otis will shower him with it. -

I am really loving this story. Everything about it is great. Rhe characters are portrayed so well and I feel like I know them, like I'm a third traveller. Lucas and Jubal are definitely feeling that first stirring of mutual attraction. I can't wait to see how they wake up. Will one be wrapped around the other?

Yeah think you're right. Somebody lured Jubal into a situation and then beat the crap out of him. Possibly had some friends for back up.

I love this story more with every chapter. Perry and Kyan are so cute. I need a 50 year old Perry/Kyan. Chance would be a fine thing. Soon they will be totally in the open and I doubt anyone will be surprised.

An amazing chapter and they are in the Crescent. This will be their next major hurdle on the way to confronting Urvan and Porvus. Fingers crossed 🤞

This would be a hugely important advantage, to disarm mages by blocking their magic. I can only imagine Porvus' fury.

This was a great chapter. Just as our team of mages had respite from the battle, it felt like that for me too. I could also relax and enjoy their time at tue castle. I'm delighted that they have ensured that their magic is backed up.

I'm very glad they translated back to the castle. They can share their magic with the good mages rhat live there. You never know what might happen. Jamie is on his way to becoming the supreme mage of his age. Urvan is nervous. Good.

Well that was an exciting battle and Jamie was almost a gonner. His lens is proving to be a miracle worker. With Skoda gone, Porvus must be at least somewhat concerned. I wonder if he knows that a mage's knack can be taken away. That is huge and could be a deciding factor when the big battle takes place.

Gorge is an interesting character. I think he will bring his own value to out group of adventurers. If the idea of reflection works the spiders 🕷 will self destruct every time rhey fire a shot at Jamie and Co. Porvus will have his horrible hands full.

Jamie is becoming amazingly powerful and as he shares it with the rest of the group they are becoming a major force to be reckoned with. Porvus has been foiled 2 or 3 times now and he will certainly be considering the seriousness of their threat to him.

I can totally see August talking sense into these two! Yes, there is more to the story of Roy leaving. I wonder what was going on when he came to that decision.

It would make sense for gay men to be nomads in those days. It would have been dangerous to be "outed" in the wild west. Having said that there must have been men who lent a helping had to their friends when they were so dar from towns and women for long stretches of time.

With half his money back, the bounty that is coming and the other 40 dollars, Jubal could go on to Larkspur. I hope he decides to stay with Lukas and go fishing. Thank you for an amazing story. Can't wait for the next chapter.

What a great chapter. These two really are a good fit so far. 👌 Lucas is a lot more pragmatic than Jubal. I hope the sheriff says Jubal can have whatever he wants of the belongings. Let's see.

What a great chapter. Jed and atrudy are great on-laws and grandparents. They are the kind of grandparents I would like to be. Perry and Kyan are on the brink of becoming really serious and I'm delighted about it. So is the entire family from what we can see. I understand Kyan's feelings about being supported. I would not want to be on the receiving end of that kind of support. It could be complicated, but I think Jed and truly are doing it out of love with zero strings attached. They are really good people.

An exciting and thought provoking chapter. To take a life is difficult. In this instance it was kill or be killed, but not just our band. If they were killed the world was in peril. We now know that Porvis and Urvan are up to some very sinister magic and that they will kill without fear or thought. This is going to be a very heated battle and I fear that not all of our ban will make it 😳 😐 😬
