  1. Hmm. Missing clues? Hidden agendas? Detective emojis? I'll let y'all have some fun making conspiracies!
  2. Now, now. I'm pretty partial on my BBQ. My little KY home has several great BBQ joints here. Me thinks y'all getting ahead of yourselves. Remis hasn't approached B&A yet... Momma Stone always told me to save the best for last. I'm so glad everyone likes Remis! 6a.m. can't get here fast enough, I got a Cernunnos chapter to post...
  3. Another fun character to write for! Remis/Guinness is a blast, even if I had to do a wee bit of research on dialect and terminology. I'm sure Cyrus has it covered. Our panda is always thinking several steps ahead. Thanks for commenting, @mikedup!
  4. Lol! I'm so confused, it's Friday for me here... I don't have an exact posting schedule for my stories, but if I was abiding by one and I didn't know it, whoopsie daisies! Thanks for commenting, @Peter J. Gee! Hope to see another comment about your thoughts on the chapter!!
  5. Thanks so much, don! I appreciate you following along. I guess we have to wait until next chapter to see if Remis, Bartlett, and Ashford can play well with others.
  6. Vincent’s eyes fluttered. Sunlight seeped through the blinds, but it wasn’t the reason for his awakening. The sound of the gravel shifting in the driveway did. He could barely hear it. To confirm his suspicion, he focused on the shadows. A car’s rolling in. He shook Mason’s arm, waking the slumbering man. “Mace, get up. Someone just got here.” Before the alphas could get another word off, they heard a soft knock at their bedroom door, followed by Ashford’s whisper, “Expecting anyone?”

    Chapter 36

Who doesn't love a good cuddle?

    Man or Monster

Called it! They're all kindred, and Axel might be taking one of them! Another great chapter, Grumpy. I can only hope for the older former-dababbi to get up to speed with their history lessons.
  10. Wow! I was expecting Ezekiel and Gunnar to be asked to step up, but to have Joel, Thomas, and Axel to have been handed the position as well. I'm curious to see (most likely in Book Three) if other bears throughout the continent will express their interest. Onward to the dababbi!

    Chapter 47

What does a broken bond entail, Kardoval-person? Garjah and Essell's bond is behaving differently? Lots of new questions. This meeting seems to be flying everywhere and anywhere at any given time. Surely someone has an agenda for the topics of discussion, instead of talking about different subjects with reckless abandon. Another great chapter, Cia!!
  12. Why does this conversation remind me of Futurama's Zapp Brannigan and his Sham-Pag-In? I'm surprised he never mispronounced original as Ore-E-Gye-Nal.
  13. Lots to unpack! I love Apollo and Susie's bomb drop! Forget Justin, we got a bunch of buffoon betas! I'm concerned for them though, and they should have went out with the bears, considering they didn't bring their enforcer (mistake on their part, next chapter might have some unwanted action... ) Gunnar is worrying me. I understand his seriousness before the council meeting, but he's starting to show some disdain for Mike's sexual appetite. Trouble in paradise? I hope not.
  14. I think my cap was on too tight. I wholeheartedly agree with you that eight would be too many for Axel. Perhaps there's a life for them in Atikokan among the werebear clan? Depending on how long it's been since the dababbi were turned, their human identities might be declared dead. Oh! Would being turned into a dababbi, then back into a human carry the were-bear youth gene? How old will these humans pop out as? When was Christopher's first dababbi created? Oy vey, questions!!!
  15. Look at Axel! Being the Papa of eight whatchamacallit's! Putting on my "I'm Callin' It" cap again. The dababbi will become human again, but there's a small detail... due to being part bear, they've become kindred! Hopefully Axel will have a number of cubs soon. Also, congrats Grumpy for having Trophy Cub featured on the site!!
  16. It was so much fun! The only challenge was picking which one to do! There's A LOT to choose from in the Writer's Circle and in the Writing World blog. https://gayauthors.org/blogs/blog/634-writing-tips/5-prompts/ https://gayauthors.org/forums/forum/328-peeks-prompts/ Hope to see some of your work!
  17. Great review, @chris191070 and a captivating story from @Grumpy Bear!
  18. Thanks, Mawgrim! I've always wanted to go through an old house like this. There's several of them in my hometown, and it was always a rite of passage for kids growing up. I never got the chance to, mostly since all my friends were goody-too-shoes.
  19. Ho. Lee. $h!%. Archibald, you are were an idiot. Whistles! At the ready! Aim! Toot! @Grumpy Bear Another irritating cliffy wonderful chapter!
  20. Thanks for reading, Patch! I kept seeing all these prompts and figured, "why not?" Hearing you went through a similar experience is exciting! I can see myself doing one of these every other month or so.
  21. My very first prompt! I'm so happy!! https://gayauthors.org/story/astone2292/rocky-prompts-tennessee/1 My take on prompt #892, Wiler's House.
  22. Well, the dog did have a tag. I'd blame the owners. Either that, or Wiler is a very crafty pup.
  23. Thanks for commenting, doc! Who knows how the new Wiler made it inside, but as long as she has a home with our friendly scavengers, I'll be content.
  24. It's easy! Just switch your A.M.s with your P.M.s. Unfortunately, the only dining choices remain McDonald's and Denny's. On the bright side, less people to deal with! I tackled the benefits and stereotypical assumptions of working the nightshift in the third chapter of my journal Dear, Grocery Shoppers (NSFW). So while everyone wakes up in a couple hours and cooks up some breakfast, I'll be outside grilling burgers or making a big pot of spaghetti. Also... Send me questions about your favorite stories! #AAA
  25. Tony and I had everything planned out. We had been working on the details since March, but he was sick of waiting. The abandoned Wiler house was the target, and it’s contents would be our prize. Of course he wanted to do this today! Piss-pouring, lightning crackling through the sky; it was a downright storm! Armed with nearly empty backpacks, stocked with some necessary tools, we were ready. Giving each other a firm nod, we opened the car doors with reckless abandon and scurried to the side
