The moral of this story is that you should always have backups made, preferably one on an external device plus one in the cloud! Glad they managed to recover your data, though. It can be a tricky process.

That turned out well and I’m glad that River View farm is now safe from development. The horses are real characters and Mary turns out to be something of a horse-whisperer. I see lots of work on the horizon for the boys.

That's not a bad idea. I have a massive list of dragons and riders, their ages, wing positions and character notes in Evernote. I try to only introduce a few new characters at a time, but I guess it is getting to be a rather large cast!

Z'los isn’t doing himself any favours. Any support he may once have had is rapidly fading. Zalna is becoming a much stronger person through her connection with Gemalth. Because of her youth, people tend to under estimate her. Thanks for commenting.

At last! Something registered with Rick when he looked at the plans and he was the ideal person to point out that all the extra development would cause flooding. Poetic justice too, that Heinrich Sr was the one who talked them out of upgrading the sewer system when the playing fields were built. And Rita proved to be the schemer we thought all along. The culmination of everything that had happened during the day made Rick finally say what he thought. Jerry proved to be a good friend after all. Ok, so Heinrich Sr is going to blow a fuse when he finds out, but he hadn't really got a hold over Rick any more having just signed over his savings and the family business to Rita's project.

Zalna's strength of character will help her to get through her grief.

Davey obviously thought about this possibility, given his years of experience and ensured there was a backup plan. His dad is definitely a different man in this timeline.

Sounds as if Grimes is trying to make a name for himself. Let's hope for Davey's sake this doesn't go on for too long before his family start asking questions about why he's not back.

Well, what a chapter. Zoltan is really controlling Gus's life. I wonder if Gus knows anything about his visit to Rick? All those threats never to try and contact him again makes me think he probably doesn’t. Gus will think he's been dumped, sink into depression and Zoltan will be able to say, 'I told you that guy was no good for you.' interesting that the flooded basement brought Rick into contact with an old friend who happens to be a lawyer. He may need her help. And having had a shitty day, in all senses of the word, at last he tells Heinrich senior where to get off!

It's good to see Davey getting along better with his dad in this timeline. Hopefully that can continue, although there are still major issues to be overcome.

I’m hoping this will be as intriguing and entertaining as the first 'Do Over'.

Stories involving time travel and all its implications are one of my favourites. This one is particularly well thought out and executed. An enjoyable read that isn’t at all predictable and leaves the reader thinking about alternative present and futures.

So the timeline now comes closer to its original path, except with the massive loss of life.

The world is definitely going to be a changed place from what is happening. This is starting to remind me a little of Stephen King's 11.22.63.

How I hate religious hypocrisy. I just hope Davey's mother realises that her beliefs have blinded her to doing the right thing.

I can see why Davey had to say something to the doctor. Maybe a few more people will live through his actions. He's realising now that it’s impossible to stand by and do nothing when faced with real people who are otherwise doomed to die.

Although Davey had to tell his friends, under the circumstances, a secret is much harder to keep when more people know about it. If each of them are tempted to make small changes as well (such as Brian warning his uncle) then it could easily escalate out of control.

All those little changes are going to add up. Davey is using his knowledge of what happened the first time round to try and improve his life and those of his family and friends, but surely other, unforeseen events will crop up as a result of him changing the timeline.
