This victory was a hell of a team effort! The earth orcas expanded that team exponentially. Ranevargar and Maurice will be surprised and impressed, and maybe a little disappointed they missed out on the fun adventure.

That was a happy and satisfying chapter until the end! I hope the mysterious new knight didn't stick his sword into Luther's back very far.

Things might start heating up, literally! This was a very exciting chapter, so fast paced. It looks like we get a head to head matchup with the Usurper next chapter!

If Chandar actually has this magical sword, he will hopefully lend it to Luther. Was that a normal bird or a special bird?

Maybe Marcus should have his parents contact James' parents for a conversation about unconditional love. I'm a little confused on timing. The confrontation happened in March, but then after that James' parents wanted him home for Thanksgiving, which is in October in Canada. -
I love seeing Slav's and Rory's relationship grow like this. I bet his sister would be impressed and comforted by him living with an "adopted" family, and will probably not be very surprised at his coming out.

We are meeting new characters who will hopefully be included in the opposition to Septimus. I hope Willem keeps any bad news to himself, Septimus seems the type that would kill the messenger!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Aunt Daphne and Uncle Graham get caught up in the legal wranglings that will undoubtedly occur in the aftermath of Thomas/Frank getting arrested! Graham might lose his dodgy clients and Daphne will get kicked off her charity boards. -
This mirror realm seems to be an ocean world, but structured similarly to our Realm. This Usurper sounds like a real bitch! That she uses and abuses animals is a sure sign of evil. Hopefully their new ally will be helpful in deposing the Usurper. I wonder if Ranevargar knows there are other realms?

This murder mystery is tension-filled and gripping, but written in the personable and heartfelt style of our author. Full of love, humour, and life, you won't regret reading it.

So someone is stealing animals from earth and controlling them, I wonder why? Without competition they have evolved to grow much larger. This implies the animals have been in this alien world for a very long time. Did our group get taken by accident because they were with the pod? Bet that's going to come back and bite the thief in the butt!

The boys were fortunate to have the time to do all their experiments. I think they will come in handy during their trip to the island. I hope Nathan gets to go to the realm, Ranevargar will enjoy meeting him!

I finished this at work a few days ago and forgot to come back and leave a comment. I love how well Nathan is being incorporated into the group. Even though he has loving parents, he's been missing the inclusion from peers. I wonder who sent them to this world. I have no doubt they will figure out how to get to the realm, then back home, but they're learning a lot about their powers on this adventure.

This is a great thriller that will keep you guessing throughout. Complex, but not convoluted storyline and amazing characters.

I think you captured Caleb's anger very well. He is, perhaps literally, a ticking time bomb. He is obviously aware of everything going on with Josh. It doesn't appear that Josh was aware before the crash. In a way, he was born that night. Caleb has to feel resentment that he did all the work for 17 years and has lost both his parents and his identity. For now he is protecting Josh, is he just waiting to take his life back and get revenge? Against Cerberus? Thanks for not making Walter the bad guy!
