He may want things left bloody alone, but he's living in a reality in which the opposing powers are not leaving things alone. Leading to him working behind the scene to try and counteract their fiddling around the streams.

Reed has his own agenda, trying to secretly direct/control/counteract both Ike and J Edgar. Seems to me the Dynamic Aggregate Duo would be helpful.

I doubt he needs it, but I expect the elder MacDonalds will be revising their will. Wouldn't it be karmic for dear old dad to lose his business due to dodgy dealings and crawl back to future Rory with his hand out? -
Ah, so Hugo's comment in a previous chapter regarding Dottie possibly directing the robots was prophetic. But she probably invented them, or was at least responsible for them being invented.

One question I had was why Dottie hasn't gone into a future time stream to give info to the President? Or has she? Is she in contact with future presidents? What exactly does she have to gain by handing over Hugo to 1953 America? Why this time period? I don't think Dottie does anything without looking at the benefits for herself.

The meeting at the cafe gave me a West Side Story vibe. The back and forth dance between Krista and Elijah was classic. I'm afraid we'll see a backslide, because there's almost always a backslide. I don't think it will will scare off Elijah, but what would it do to Simon's fragile self worth? I will just have to be happy at the progress so far, and weather any blips in the future.

I looked back at a few of the latter chapters of Mickey to see if any of Marty's mental health issues or Peter's health issues were mentioned in their future. Just Peter's hearing loss. I'm taking that to mean that the guys overcome their many obstacles to becoming the happy couple we met in Mickey. Sometimes prequels have a been there, done that feel, but not this one! I'm enjoying Peter and Marty's journey. I liked hearing from Bid and look forward to Marty's first meeting the family.

We got to peek into the minds of so many characters in this chapter. Every one of them are dealing with life changing decisions and self doubt. The only good way forward for any of them is to rely on each other. Something very difficult for many of them. What will Angelica do now that she has put the pieces together? She will be vital to saving her son, his lover, and taking down a monster.

This chapter was particularly upbeat and held promises of good tidings in the future. Gray is stepping out of his comfort zone more and more, and importantly, he is involving his family and friends in those ventures. The exhibition, a weekend away, the radio project, all things he would have been overwhelmed by a couple of months prior. -
Impressive! I think I took about a week and a half to binge part way through the previous book. It's remarkably addictive.

Part of the way through the chapter I was afraid you were turning Kate into Kathy Bates from Misery! I'm glad Hugo was able to walk out the door on his own. I hope that Kate finds her own Stoker. I know (since you love to tease us with little spoilers) that Hugo and Alec make it out alive, but I can't wait to find out how. I also think that they will earn the second aggregate in the struggle.

Hugo has a new moniker, The Lore Master. I wondered last chapter how many people (I should rephrase now Anachronisms) have searched for all 5 aggregates. I think several have tried, but Hugo is obviously special. How does Sinjin know so much? I’m encouraged by the bond that Hugo and Alec have, but afraid they will be separated.

I'm an avid thrifter and love to roam dusty, crammed full antique shops, not the ones with super expensive pieces, mind you. I would have spent all day in that attic! They should definitely get a valuer in to look at the pieces, dad and grandpa didn't seem the type to buy cheap stuff, they were trying to impress. The furniture could be a cash cow! The interactions between Gray and Matt, and Gray and Vince felt authentic. They are building and actively working on their relationships, which is rarer than it should be. -

I wonder how many people caught in the time streams have attempted to find all 5 aggregates? Sinjin offered advice and the pill for the library. So I can assume plenty of people have tried. What challenges will the citadel bring? So anyone who encounters the Enigma sees something different. But it is not just a figment of the individual's imagination. He gave Vojciech actual facts about the future that Vojciech did not know yet. Vojciech saw a boy from his past, and called him the devil, because of his own belief system. I expect the "devil" seen by the bride or the Witchhunter was different. What do people from alternate Earth realities see?
