Well, my late husband named her, Susie Q. He did not want her. He kept calling her my dog. If he petted her she had to work for it by learning to shake his hand from my paws. So now that is what she does when shen wants to be peeted. She wants to shake your hand.

Well, I had some good news yesterday. My sister finally after a year sold her house. She wants to retire. So when her house sold this week, she put in her notice for retirement for March. She will be moving down to where her son and daughter in law lives. She already got an apartment there and they will be starting to move all her stuff on Saturday, well, some of her stuff cause she still has to live there for another week to sleep. Don't know why she just doesn't just go ahead and move it all this weekend and just stay in a motel room for the rest of the week till after Thanksgiving. She will be working from her apartment when she moves in since the refinery she works for is making everyone work from home now. I am happy for her. Even though I will not see her all the time. Will miss that. Wish I had a good car now to go see her when I want to to travel 1 hr and a half to the town she will be moving to.

My 11 year old female border collie was laying on the sofa and was cleaning herself awhile ago when she tumbled off and hit the floor, even though she doesn't seem to be hurt. The only thing that bothered me was she fell on her back. It scared the bee geebs out of me! But she looked at me when she got up and it seemed like she thought I did it to her!

Never slipped and fell while dislocating my shoulder, but have dislocated my shoulder a number of ways since I was a child. The first time was in grade school when I needed a pencil cause I forgot mine at home and someone was handing me one that was behind me and I reached my arm backwards like normally and pop, out it goes. The teacher freaked out and helped me go to the school nurse, but it popped back in before we got there. I turned over in bed one time and it popped out and by the time my sister got me up off the bed while my mom was freaking out that I was going into shock since it had been awhile that I could get out of bed and she told my sister that she needed to take me to the doctor and when she helped me in the wheelchair and I sat down then it popped back in. Then one time I was reaching in my shoulder purse for my bus ticket to come home and it popped out ut this time I had to ride in a ambulance to a hospital and the doctor had to pop it back in and that was the only time a doctor had to pop it back in. I have popped it out of place several times when my husband before he died had to pop it back into place. I actually popped it out when putting a pull over shirt on and I jerked back on the bed and it popped back in. I also was getting in the car one time and was going to the bank to meet my dad to cosign for a loan and I popped my shoulder out. No one could get me out of the car, not even my stepmom who was a nurse. So my mom called my sister at work and she came and got a pillow and put in under my shoulder to support it and while she helped me turn my body around with the help of someone else and then she pushed on my lower back to scoot me out of the car. It popped back in before I made it to the doctor but had to go cause of my job I do. You know it is hard to work the broiler putting buns and patties into the broiler at Burger King with one arm while the other arm was in a sling. I got really fast until I got to take it off and they would not train me on anything else for a whole year cause I was that good on the broiler during the busy times.
