I too LOVE this story and eagerly await a new chapter. @pvtguyis spot on - I find myself chuckling at Steven's antics and the dialogue in general. Max & Susan are simply the best.

Very interesting about Mr. Watson adopting Cindy yet acting as if he couldn't reveal details. The relationship between Jensen and the fam has developed nicely and I'm glad to see he's doing much better without all the medications. Looking forward to more! Love this story! -

A full chapter revealing quite a bit. Steven has certainly grown on me. I'm hoping that Dave & Jensen develop a relationship. It's heartwarming to see how nonchalant Max is about Jensen's sexuality. I still love Susan and how much she dotes on her guys. I smell something funny with the staff changes and the Cindy situation at Greenstone. I too look forward to each new chapter! Well done as always! -

Wonderful news for Cindy!!! Steven does have a heart after all. It was nice to see that he came around to possibly save Dave's life after making his life hell. It's good to see Puppy's progress and I love Susan's bond with him - he certainly needs her motherly love and affection. I hope Max's news doesn't have anything to do with Jensen. -

Loved this chapter and how Jensen is adapting. It was cool of Steven to finally open up and show his brother some compassion and give him some life lessons that he took for granted. The line about being stuck in a brick box for 10 years sums up Jensen's adolescence nicely. Can't wait to see how he progresses. It's quite sad what Greenstone subjected him to - the brainwashing seems like the perfect description. -
An insightful chapter! I loved the bond that Jensen developed with Susan and I think he and Steven will eventually bond.

Great chapter! I'm glad that Puppy was able to get some answers from Max on how long he'd searched for him. Max & Susan seem to genuinely want him in their lives. It'll be interesting to see how the dynamic between the boys changes as they get to know one another. I do feel for poor Cindy though. It's a shame Max couldn't have brought her along. -
Wow, what an awful turn of events for Matt. I'm hoping to see him get his life back together. It's simply horrible what the "pastor" did to him.

I have so many superlatives about this story rattling around in my brain that I'm not sure where to start. I appreciate the time and energy you put forth in producing this story that felt at times so real. I absolutely love Jett & Kyle and the rest and am glad I got to experience their journey (thus far - I echo the calls for a book 2!). You have a gift for storytelling and I appreciate the ways you worked in so many themes - suspense, comedy, drama, romance! And the ER character names were a great creative touch. I am in awe of your talents and applaud you for sharing this with us all. Much love!

What a chapter! I went through various emotions and tried to read slowly as to savor it. My heart was pounding when Bruce got shot (and as I stated in a comment on an earlier chapter I'm not an animal person) and I thought for sure he was dead. I'm glad that Kim will finally get closure and that everyone is on the mend. And congrats to our guys who finally professed their love - I suppose a near-death experience like that makes you really appreciate what you almost lost. A tremendous story!

Ha! I could somehow "feel" that a cliffhanger or something bad was gonna happen as the chapter unfolded. I don't know why just an ominous feeling. Hopefully Jett & Bruce will come to the rescue! Kim definitely didn't need any more trauma but life's like that sometimes. Great chapter!

Another powerful but impactful chapter! Some drama between the guys was bound to develop at some point but man that was tough to read. I'm glad they worked it out though! Love these guys! Stay safe in Florida!

Wonderful chapter full of sugar and spice and everything nice!!! The opening was particularly... nice. The splinter story had me rolling and the Christmas Eve chaos brought back sweet memories of time spent with my family at my grandparents. Jett's gift to Kyle was a nice touch. Loving those 2 more and more!

Powerful chapter! I hate what the "pastor" is putting Charles and now Matt through. It's probably more common than we think. Hopefully Ricky and his family will help Matt escape the hell he's about to endure.
