Wow, even after talking for seven hours on that crazy flight, Andrew had no idea how ground down Will was putting him through school. And Wow, Johnson is some kinda psycho if he doesn't get that assassinating a bunch of Canadian cabinet ministers would be something Washington had to disavow once his cover was blown. I guess that's the idea, but yikes!

Yeah the simple days of the first two books really appealed to me. I've had the overtimey job that grinds your personality and your soul down to the bones, and it was a great description, but I didn't like revisiting what that was like. I don't get what West has against going home. It didn't seem to be that bad except for the Brad - issue, but he had friends out there and no real burned bridges except for be ought to feel bad about ditching Peter.

Yeah this is a lotta episodes to build up to "Will's gonna explode" and nobody's gonna be friends anymore. Also, there are no "highway embankments" between the Pink Panther and the Champlain Bridge.

So's the setting. That's pretty good that Hull is the "beige area" Ottawa's hoping people aren't gonna go to, but the Hull bar strip is pretty anglo. I guess we're building tension for a blowup. I've been in that SUV full of guys heading off to adventures I don't really wanna be on.

Ah, I googled up USA swimming and they seem to have sections that are states except Texas and California are a bunch of sections, and then 4 big "zones." I guess that doesn't overlap the HS districts totally. Big country. (I'm Canadian but went to university in the US) I'm starting to be fond of the area you've imagined for us, I'll take a look at Standing in Shadows.
