We must be looking at different Spirit Guides, but maybe Louella had a friend at school when she was really, really young.
-
Yes, I'm certain that Preston will spend a lot more time with her at home and might even buy her several Christmas presents that he gives to her one at a time over the Christmas break. 🎅
-
Then maybe it was one of Louella's parents. I'm sure they knew what she was like. 😜
-
It's a mystery why there aren't more mysteries and why there are two mystery categories with no mysteries and three more mystery categories with only one mystery.
-
The gauntlet has been thrown down, so you'd better start burning the midnight oil and get it done, and don't forget get to dot all your i's and cross all your t's.
-
I believe you got your idioms mixed up. It's blow me down or blow me awy and knock me down/over with a feather. Did you just fall off the turnip truck?

I definitely know how you feel. Since I reached middle-old I've had one health issue after another, making me feel old-old as well. -
Did you ever bite him or pee on his leg? Damn, there was not weinerdog emoji.
-
Oh, hell no! With Louella's appearance and apparent appetite, she might think poor weinerdog was just a large sausage and toss him in the oven.
-
That's just the point... you were thinking of Louella in hell.
-
Whew, now I can post with a clear mind, since I have your permission.
-
Who knows, maybe the dog or its owner sent the spirits to visit her. Uh, fat chance (pun intended).

I try to write chapters far in advance, so in order to post the Christmas chapter closer to Christmas, I'd have to figure out where the Christmas chapter would come, and then count backwards on the calendar to determine when I should start posting the chapters that precede it. I can do that, but it would probably mean there would either be a lengthy delay before the preceding chapters are posted, or instead of posting a chapter a week, I'd be forced to post bi-weekly or tri-weekly.

I wondered why Geritol elicited so many testimonials from its users, so I looked it up. Since Geritol was marketed before Sr. multi-vitamins were marketed, this was why Geritol had so many elderly people that claimed Geritol helped them. Geritol contains a variety of ingredients, including B vitamins, iron, and other vitamins and minerals: B vitamins Geritol contains high potency B vitamins like B1, B2, B6, niacin, and pantothenic acid, which help the body metabolize food and turn it into fuel. Iron Geritol contains iron to help move oxygen throughout the body. Other vitamins and minerals Geritol contains vitamins C and E for immune support, vitamin D for bone health, biotin, magnesium, zinc, molybdenum, vitamin K, potassium, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium, and chromium. Other ingredients Geritol also contains ingredients like invert sugar, purified water, alcohol, brewers yeast, ferric ammonium citrate, caramel color, choline bitartrate, niacinamide, citric acid, dl-methionine, thiamine HCI, riboflavin, d-panthenol, flavors, benzoic acid, sodium hydroxide, and pyridoxine HCI. Geritol is available in both liquid and tablet form. ** If you didn't notice, Geritol also contained alcohol, so those old folks got a little nip at the same time. -

You didn't want to visit all those sites because you are a young-old whipper snapper. I'm at the next level. I'm a middle- old. -

Gerontologists sometimes categorized the elderly into three age groups: the "young-old" (65-74 years), the "middle-old" (75-84 years), and the "old-old" (85 years and older). This categorization helps in tailoring healthcare approaches according to the varying needs of these groups. -

You are correct. For a while it seemed as if every radio and early TV show throughout the 1950s and 60s was always pushing the positive aspects of those getting older to take Geritol, which sponsored many of those shows. -

Gerontology is multidisciplinary and is concerned with the physical, mental, and social aspects and implications of aging. Geriatrics is a medical specialty focused on the care and treatment of older persons. Gerontology refers to the study of aging in humans, especially as it occurs in adults over 65. Gerontologists study the physical and mental changes that happen as a person ages. But they also zoom out to see the bigger picture, beyond a person's medical history. Although there is no set age to define older age, age 65 is often used because this is the age that determines eligibility for Medicare insurance in the United States. However, some people with medical conditions require geriatrics expertise at a younger age. -
I don't think Mac has any question about his and Devin's relationship, so although he was worried about Devin's safety, he wasn't worried about Devin's commit to their relationship. Devin was also being considerate about allowing Mac to study in peace.

That means it was a joyous and silent night. 🎅

Yes, I think Mac handled that appropriately.

Yes, I knew some of you might think that, but Devin was merely being considerate so he didn't bother Mac while he was studying. I got a kick out of your comment about Preston seeing Bear drunk, but I doubt Preston is hanging around the campus at night.

Yes, I figured some of the readers might think he was cheating on Mac, but he was just being considerate and finding somewhere to hang out so he could leave Mac in peace to study. And as I said to weinerdog, hopefully others will watch and learn from them and take over going forward, as well as making sure others take over when they graduate.

They will probably encourage others to be part of the fund raising and join them on their last trip to the hospital, so they can pickup the mantle after they graduate. However, they aren't planning to get jobs close to either Jamesville or Fort Collins, so they won't be able to personally carry on the tradition. Hopefully, others will step up and take over.
