    Who the hell would want to wear a spider for an earing? Could you image the legs jiggling around and touching your face and ear all day? I'd be reaching up and instinctively trying to swat it away or swash it.

    Weinerdog, I don't think any of them are planning to get killed, but did the kidnappers kills someone when they kidnapped the woman? That might be a valid question. And your question is a good one as well. Remember, same time, same station... er I mean same site next week.

    Those are great ques tions, Danilo, and if you're lucky you might get the answer to those questions in the next chapter. Then again, will that chapter be another cliffhanger?

    are you suggesting they have a satellite phone? They certainly couldn't carry that as an animal and call 9-1-1if they got inured and weren't anywhere near their vehicle at the time.

    There's a camp ground at the other end, but I'm not sure if they'd have walkie-talkies that Gramps could contact with one of his own, if he knew the channel they were using. Otherwise, they might have merely been planning on using the SUV to deal with emergency situations.

    What could happen on a fishing trip? You're on a lake so you don't have to worry about Jaws when you're out on the boat. Devin chose the raccoon for multiple reasons. First of all, its small and less likely to be noticed or appear as a threat, but a raccoon also has very keen hearing and sight. Remember, those guys have guns, so you don't want to appear too threating and have them start shooting. I don't know if that would take down Bigfoot, but if I were Devin or Mac I wouldn't want to take the chance of finding out.

    A couple of you have mentioned calling the cops, but possibly they don't have reception where they're camping. Will they just take care of the situation on their own, or will they call the skinwalkers to the rescue?

    Yes, and that would warm up the sleeping bags even more. I hope they don't catch on fire if that happens. The crew was having too good of a time. I think Murphy's Law just struck. As an aside, if it was early enough in the spring that (some) snow was still on the ground, I would have been looking for any creeks that fed the lake. Nothing tastes better than early-season brookies! Six to ten-inch (pan size) tender pink meat, fried with onions... YUM! For some reason your second comment didn't come when I hit the quote button, so I had to do the old copy and paste routine. That sounds like a very yummy suggestion.
