  1. The threat is not just that various administrators will be able to keep their site up and running, but with the current situation in the US of banning books on LGBTQ+ topics, I wonder how long before they come after websites with LGBTQ+ information and stories on them? If authors are smart and wish to make certain their material doesn't get lost when one of those sites go down, other than a more stable Gay Authors, they'd be wise to post on multiple sites. Hopefully they won't all disappear.

    Chapter 17 S1

As far as the persons that Devin turns into, he may get an idea from someone else he's known or has seen, but then he creates a doppelganger with its own identity, including DNA, bloodtype, fingerprints, etc. I hope that answers both of your questions. As far as telling both sets of parents the same story, they are talking about what they'll do in the future, once they come up with a story. It won't matter which order they tell them in, except that if they tell Devin's parents first, it might be a good practice run to uncover anything they might have overlooked.

Yes, when dealing with one's parents, sometimes you have to resort to tricking them into letting you do it by making them think it was their idea in the first place.

    Chapter 17 S1

I think Devin and Mac have already proven their commitment to doing things for the community with their visit to the hospital at Christmas, but they could also do something like you suggest as well. We'll just have to wait and see what they come up with. As far as capturing the rapist, I agree, it could have gone very badly. First of all, the rapist had a knife and he could have injured or killed Devin. Second, someone else may have spotted him and reported his location as being the rapist. And lastly, the police may have seen him when they arrived and wanted to question him, possibly exposing his family's secret. Luckily, none of those things happened. I'm glad you enjoyed how it turned out.
  5. Chapter 17 – The Aftermath Devin had just rushed into the room and announced that he’d nailed the rapist. “Then what are you doing here? Why aren’t you down there telling the campus cops and local police about what you did? I’ve noticed there are members of both of those departments milling about in front of the residence halls at the moment, so why aren’t you telling them all you know about this guy?” “I don’t want any publicity.” “Why the hell not?” “For one r

  8. As people grow older, their bodies can't start to become gnarled as well, especially their hands.
  9. My pet octopus does my taxes.
  10. My pet squid lives on land.
  11. It's not easy to describe an unseen pet in just six words, but let's see if this works. A gigantic scorpion that's pissed off.
  12. And this: My cat hisses and spits acid.
  13. Ok, how about this: My dog breathes fire when upset.

    Carlos Hazday

I'm in total shock. I hate it when one of the GA family passes away, especially when they were younger than me, but it is even a greater loss because of how talented he was, as well as how involved he'd become with the site. Does anyone know if he was he ill or if this was the result of an accident? Either way he will be sorely missed and I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. RIP, Carlos. You have left a positive and lasting mark here at GA and will be greatly missed.

  18. Foreshadow, the art of skillfully leaving clues without ruining the story for the readers. If you do it correctly, when the readers discover what you've been foreshadowing, they will smack themselves in the forehead and say, "Damn, I remember he said or showed us that earlier, but I never put it all together until now!"
  19. Congratulations to Comsie and the Shack Out Back on 25 Wonderful Years entertaining us! Even though Comsie is younger than me, he and one other other inspired me to start writing at the end of 1998. I'm not sure if he considers this a positive or negative accomplishment, but I've been writing ever since and I truly thank him for inspiring me.

Yes, but as I just told akascrubber, Devin doesn't like anyone to call him that.

    Chapter 16 S1

Yes, but don't call him that if you don't want to get an earful, because Devin doesn't like to be called a superhero.
