If you're looking for an unusual and heart-warming romance, this will fit the bill. Two young men meet and quickly bond over a common ability they possess, and from there one helps guide the other through the experience of what falling in love is all about. The story is well-written and captivating, even though it can also be a little dark, and I highly recommend it.

A powerful, riveting, and well-written story that explores the highs and lows of marriage and raising a dysfunctional family. I found it heart-warming at times, as well as upsetting and terrifying at other times, and yet I couldn't stop reading. Kudos to the author and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind going through an emotional roller coaster ride. I know you'll quickly discover what I mean when you read it.

It was a sad story and I wonder if Joel would have gone through with his plan if Trace hadn't stopped. The problem is, I'm left wanting a a resolution, because I doubt he'll be able to stay with Trace for long. It didn't seem as if Joel took any of his clothes with him, and he didn't take his money, since he told his little brother where it was and to use if for whatever he wanted. That leaves me wanting to know if things eventually improved at home, and if not, what Joel was going to do? From what he said when he was informing us about Jonny, he'll be a senior, 12th grade, in the fall, so will he continue his education? I enjoyed the story, but I need to know what happened to Joel.

I'm not sure how I missed this, but I'll add my own two cents. Contrary to what some people believe, freedom does not mean you can do whatever you want. There are some restrictions, such as you can't ignore laws.

OMG, I forgot all about her, but remember her fondly. Great point, George. Kudos. I looked her up online. She was never married but engaged four times, I guess to throw everyone off the track.

I'm not sure of the author either, but he or she is obviously British, judging by the terminology used in the story, and I'm sure everyone who's read this story has figured that out.

I haven't forgotten about what Mac promised his mother, and it's still possible. Remember, even as skinwalkers the boys can each father a son using a surrogate, and they may do it close to the same time so the boys can grow up together. That hasn't been decided yet. As you suggest, Mac could also visit a sperm bank and make a deposit for future use, although withdrawing the deposit would have to be made and utilized within the next 10 or 20 years, since I don't believe the sperm bank would hold his deposit longer than that, say for 100 or 200 years. However, he can still keep his promise to his mom without doing that.

What an unusual romance. Two boys meet and bond over a common ability and fall in love. I'll admit that I got vibes of The Sixth Sense almost from the beginning, starting with when Chris sees the drowned woman reaching out to him. There were also plenty of clues along the way to support my suspicion, but then there were numerous other clues that seemed to run opposite of what I was expecting, which left some doubt in my mind. It didn't matter, though, because it was a well-written and captivating tale, and even though it touched upon some darker issues at times, it was still a heart-warming story. Tom wasn't the only one moved to tears, and even though I don't know who the author is at this point, I highly recommend this story to others.

And don't forget the most important glyphs of them all - the Egyptian hieroglyphs. Mayans used their own set of glyphs to communicate. Both the Egyptians and Mayans had some glyphs that represented an entire word (usually an animal or object), while other glyphs merely represented sounds that were then combined to make words.

It's not a problem. We all get confused at times so it's not a big deal, as long as you are enjoying the story.

I'm confused. The boys live and go to college in Colorado, the reservation they'll be going to is in New Mexico, and the fake trip would be to Minnesota. Where does Iowa come in?

Since Barry doesn't live close to Jamesville, the chances of Mac's parents running into him are slim. Besides, since they only met him once, they probably wouldn't recognize him even if they did run into him at some point. Thanks for the holiday greeting.
