    From 1907 until the early 1930s the Ziegfeld Follies was a revue consisting of songs, skits, and dance numbers. The Folies Bergere began as the Folies Trevise in 1869 and became the Folies Bergere in 1872. It was the most famous music hall in Paris and Josephine Baker made her debut there in 1926. The Las Vegas Les Folies Bergere operated in the Hotel Tropicana from 1959-2009.

    Ok, I'll answer the question for you, since Anton_Cloche has already spilled the beans. I wanted Mac to learn how to make hollow hairs, because when Devin starts working with him on birds, he'll have to make hollow bones so the birds will be able to fly, and I thought making hairs would be sort of an intermediary step in the process. I hope that answers your question for you. And I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter as well.

    Yes, flying would be difficult, but if you remember Devin turned into a hawk to fly out where he was going to turn into a bigfoot in his freshman year. I think it might be a challenge for Mac. I'm glad that I'm teaching you more about these animals and there will be a quiz after the next chapter.

    Yes, the porcupines quills are barbed, so they won't come out easily, and Mac and Devin are both young and have a lot to learn, otherwise Gramps and Pops wouldn't be having to save them so often. If you didn't know this, Navajos believe reptiles are evil and won't have anything to do with them. They won't even touch a snakeskin that has been shed. Knowing that, I'm positive they won't be doing anything with reptiles.

    Oh, it's possible. Who knows what the shaman may come up with. And yes, a couple of the coyotes got more than they reckoned for, so hopefully they learned not to mess with porcupines in the future.

    I believe it was just to see if he could master the quills, because if he could master those he could replicate the fur on any animal. I hope this answerls your question. And who knows, maybe he could replicate the quills while in another form as well and use them as an offensive weapon. Could you imagine a person having quills on his arms and a weapon or weapons in his hands?

    Steve, do you sleep in a closet under the stairway too? I buy candy expecting trick-or-treaters, but I've never had more than two in one year, so I end up eating the candy myself - and believe me, I don't need those calories, but the candy tastes good. I do have a question, though. Was last Thursday the end of the anthology stories or should we expect more this coming Thursday? I hope there's more.

    Although the French the bibli in the word for library, bibliotheque, the actual basis for bibliophile is Greek. It is a combination of the Greek word biblion (book) and philos (loving).

    Thank you for your support in reading all of my Halloween stories and The Castaway Hotel. As far as continuing the latter. I have no plans about doing that as of now. I'm focused on another series at the moment, although I do take a little time off to write seasonal tales. I hope that answers your question and I do that you for your support.
