    Just so you know, entwined and intertwined have the same meaning, but entwined is the present tense and intertwined is the past tense.

    When I was a kid, it seemed that every time I went fishing my line would get entwined in something along the shore. Since there weren't a lot of places that I could go fishing at the time, I had to learn how to deal with the situation.

    I'm glad you enjoyed the two families getting together to celebrate the Fourth of July. As far as this chapter reminding you of mental games, it's probably because the main characters handled similar problems, but their skill sets allowed them to do it in different ways. In mental games, he could do it by using his mind to handle the problem, while here the boys are able to augment their bodies to handle the different situations. It was a good observation.

    I read all of the stories in the first group of the Leap Of Faith anthology, and they all were all great and each one touched me in different ways, so it's really hard to pick a favorite. In most cases, it's like comparing apples and oranges with almonds and cashews. How do I pick a favorite out of those, since I love each one in a different way and for different reasons. It's like asking a parent which of their four or six children is their favorite. If they're smart, they love them all, although for different reasons and in different ways.

    Great poem! But pasta and meat sauce and cheese pierogis on the same table? That's mixing Italian on one hand and a Polish/Slavic dish on the other hand, and they're both heavy on the dough.

    It's the simplistic design and aesthetic appeal of the architecture that is making chalets to be more appealing than merely on the ski slopes.

    If you're into science fiction and are looking for a thriller, then you need to read this story. It begs for a follow-up, which may come later, but this is still worth reading as it stands now.

    I guess Al definitely didn't want to give Javelina back to Toad. Now, Todd's daughter is not only missing her kitten, she's missing her daddy as well. It was a twist I never saw coming, and now Al won't have to deal with Todd at work either.

    Yes, I know. Paladin in "Have Gun Will Travel" wore a black hat and was a good guy. And the Maverick brothers, Bret and Bart, wore black hats and were in sort of a gray area between good and bad, since they were a gambling duo that liked to have a good time but got into trouble as well.

    A nice feel good story where everyone is happy and excited by the end of the story. Unfortunately, Chris' story was an all to common experience with my generation, where a gay guy married a woman because he felt pressured by his family and society to do so. It was nice that this situation worked out and that Chris had his boys back and his boys had their dad again. It's just a shame that it took their mom's death to make it happen. I hope it works out and the boys enjoy having two dads.

    So, sometimes a traffic accident can be a good thing. It was an interesting way to bring two high school friends back together and give Nick a chance to finally find a pair so he could ask Brock on date. I'm glad they hooked up, and I'm sure that helping Brock find a place for his photography studio helped. I enjoyed the character Mum as well, and I always love it when people come up with unusual names for their pets, and Martini definitely fits that category. Great job and I found this story and interesting and enjoyable read.

    If you're looking for a story with intriguing characters and an unusual and enjoyable take on characters that you might have seen referenced in the Bible (angels, demons, and nephilims), then this story is for you. @astone2292 gives us a highly entertaining look into a world were those groups might interact, but not as you might expect, and when you finish reading this short story, you will be left wanting more. You won't regret taking the time to read this story.

    Short, concise, and suspenseful. Can't wait to read more. @ReaderPaul this Reginald Barclay isn't freaking out as the one from STNG might do, and from our experience with him in the past, I doubt anyone would put him in charge of a scientific group for fear he might break down.
